Hoppa 47L Lightweight Shopping Trolley, Hard Wearing & Foldaway for Easy Storage with 3 Years Guarantee (Navy)

I've been relying on this Hoppa since 2 years now for groceries and could not have made a better choice.It is so lightweight that, even when loaded to full capacity (the bag holds a lot), it's easy to lift it by the metal frame into the trunk and take it out for wheeling into the home (i.e., no need for plastic shopping bags, for which we are charged in Chicago stores): perfect height for laying flat breadth-wise in the trunk of my Toyota Prius. I carry 2-3 cloth bags at the bottom, in which to carry lighter produce separately, for those times when the groceries exceed its capacity.Though very maneuverable, a breeze to drag along even when full, it stands solidly upright by itself (while you're picking stuff off the shelves). The removable waterproof bag is strong and the fabric of mine has not experienced any tears. I pick up the heaviest items (large milk cartons, etc.) first to place on the bottom and the lightest (bread, etc.) and most fragile (egg trays, etc.) at last to place on top so as not to be crushed under the weight. Occupies little space when folded to store, even without bothering to take out the easily detachable but sturdy road-wheels.The only thing to watch out for is to avoid tightening the drawstring, especially when the bag is overflowing, at such a sharp angle that it starts tearing the stitches of the seam that hold the cord in place. I was able to get my partly torn seam restitched for a few dollars at a local tailor (manufacturer does not replace the bag, but offered me a generous cashback under warranty to more than cover this repair). If the cord is drawn crosswise (with no pressure on the seams), it can (be double-) looped (if necessary around the handle. Once the opening is tightened narrow, the top flap protects contents from rain.I would have preferred the zippered back pocket to be wider, almost as wide as the bag, to stuff newspapers, etc.,This is the third Hoppa I have bought since Nov 2016. Last March, I forgot to load the first one ($29.99) into my trunk and when I got back around to the parking lot, it had disappeared with all its groceries. Its replacement, which I bought immediately, cost $10 more. I ordered another a few months ago through Amazon UK for my sister who lives there (when she complained of sore fingers from carrying grocery bags). You won't be disappointed!

Looked long and hard for a cart to help with my walks to grocery store. It's a mile and a half round trip walk over poor sidewalks. fair side streets and rough open lots. I first felt this cart was too flimsy and wouldn't work. It's made a dozen or more trips now and is holding up well. I love the light weight, I fold it and carry it at my side like a briefcase when empty on way to the store. I once weighed it when returning with a full load and at 28 lbs worked very well. I am 5"8" and the handle height is very comfortable. Just a well designed and well made lightweight cart. The plastic wheels work well but give me some concern they may not hold up, then, I noticed Amazon sells replacement ones. Great, this carts been just what I needed. UPDATE 11/13/2018 Still love this cart. Use it 1-2 times a week. only thing I've done to it was spray a little silicone on the axle when a wheel started squeaking. As a non-driver it's made my life a lot easier.UPDATE... Oct., 9th, 2021, I must have rolled this cart a couple of hundred miles or more since I bought it. It is still holding up and working fine. One of the best (and most useful) purchases of my lifetime.

This little cart does its job pretty well: it's a cart, the wheels are solid, it holds a lot of stuff and seems durable enough to last a long time. It makes trips to my "just too far enough to carry a bunch of stuff, just too close to be silly to drive" grocery store more enjoyable.The only flaw is that the top flap is utterly useless and mostly just annoying. It doesn't have any mechanism to close itself and serve as some kind of lid for the cart, so it just flaps around pointlessly. If you fill the cart up, it'll fall off to the side rather than serving any kind of useful purpose like trying to keep things from falling out.

This bag holds quite a lot. The large wheels make for smooth-rolling, and the bag can stand up on its own--a nice touch. It fits on the lower shelf of a grocery cart for easy shopping. However, those big wheels make it somewhat bulky to carry and the bag's bottom frame doesn't stay flat. My old rolling grocery bag had an extending handle like a spinner suitcase, which I miss. This handle is just a bit short, which can make it a teensy bit uncomfortable on long walks, as you have to keep your arm fully extended. Overall, I'm happy with it. I've only used it for two trips, so I can't speak yet to durability.

Love this trolly cart. I bought in July 2017. I have shoulder pain. Was told by PT not to carry things. I put my sons medical jump bag, a large purse and several other items. Worked perfectly until Dec 2017. It began to tear at draw string both sides where draw string comes out of bag. Super bummed. It stated on site, that I can return for any reason no questions asked. I went to do so &/ or at least Contact seller. But it said return window was till August 2017. A month?4 star's for practicality. But took one for material tearing. Now stuck with defective trolly.Sniff

I don't own a car, so I use this for errands. I have put almost 30 pounds of firewood in it!!! Then drag it up a flight of stairs. It took nearly 5 yrs of use to finally kill a wheel. Unfortunately, I was unable to just buy replacement wheels in the USA. It was UK only.

This is a good quality shopping cart with a good size bag designed to fit multiple shopping bags. It appears to be sturdy (time will tell on this one), and is well balanced. Personally, I think the price is rather high on these carts, but this one appears to be one of the better quality carts currently available. I have had no problem with the wheels as have some of the other reviewers thus far.

Purchased in navy blue, dad's favourite colour and in the grand scheme of trolleys certainly looks nice!We decided to give a trolley a try as my dad's winding down on driving, but buys pet food which is very heavy and walking home from the shops with tins is a strain (understandable I think!)Trolley comes along, we've had a couple of test runs with heavy shopping and it's been a huge success.being a new addition we were unsure if he would even entertain the thought of using it, but he seems to like how effortless it is to move and how easy it is to fold up etc, so fngers crossed he'll decide to use it himself without being prompted.

It's a very durable bag. I've been using it for over 6 months now and I must say, no regrets.

It’s extremely packable and I can buy heavy goods ie milk, washing powder etc and get them home without having to carry. The price is very reasonable, good valve. Would not be without it.

Very pleased with the shopping trolley. Well made and light to use. The material is ofgood quality.
