Better than the “Deluxe” tuners Gibson ship with, or the cheaper OEM Grovers.Wilkinson are known to deliver quality without breaking the bank and these do not not disappoint..Highly recommended.

If your sg has locking collers like mine ..see pics..then these vintage ones won't fit your guitar..
I bought these fur my 94 eppi sg...the collers that are supplied are too small and just fall out if you have this type of machine heads fitted then these are not what you need so don't buy....

The colour of the tuners is much greener than vintage tuners should be.
I have a number of guitars with this type of tuner and these are much greener than true vintage tuners.The tags that are folded down to hold the back cover on, are not always fully bent back properly so are a little proud. This means the surface that mates with the head stock doesn't sit properly until you file/bend the tags fully flat.They are made in China.

The machine heads were easy to fit and worked well at first. Sadly, after only 20 weeks of use, one ratchet failed. A second one had become wobbly. It was evident that the quality was poor. I am sorry I purchased them. Bad choice. The return window was closed.I have bought new machine heads of a higher quality elsewhere.

Exact fit for direct replacement
