I have absolutely no regrets purchasing this. The engraving came out exactly like I wanted it. The compass itself is awesome and for an adventurous outdoors man like my fiance, it was perfect. He has raved about it to everyone and is excited to use it on his next camping trip.

Compass doesn’t work

This was a beautiful gift. I love the style options given for the engraving. My boyfriend absolutely loved it for his birthday. Very beautiful color as well, and the quality of the case that comes with it is stunning.

Pros: fast delivery speed, order came intact, I think the compass works, engraving specifications were followed, free box!!Update: bump to 3.5 stars for customer focus, seller is a good personCons: outside of the box was relatively cute but the inside stunk (something musky).The compass was also a bit different from the pictures:1. Color was a bit darker than expected (NOT a pale gold). Probably due to lighting so not a big issue BUT2. There were also little imperfections all over (zoom in on attached pictures: little brown dots, that gray thing in the lid, the extra nails on top and slightly misaligned numerals, small bumps/scratches/black stains, chipping paint on compass marks, the typos). As the product was supposed to be a gift, this was a major issue.3. Some design liberties had been taken with the sun dial as well. It’s not bad but it’s not great either.

I gave this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loved it. It was very good quality and came in a leather box that I was very impressed with.

It was just an absolutely perfect for a gift to my father, he loves it!

It arrived in time for Christmas and I was very happy with it.
