Consistently Good Tasting, Refreshing, Not Bitter
Delicious and refreshing tea. I once met a couple of Brits in our local supermarket years ago. They were actually looking for "good" tea, and looked disappointed in the available selection on the shelf. I led them to the international section of the market, suggesting that perhaps they would find a better tea there. Well yes, they did, and I imposed a question on them, since I had grown up on very cheap American brands and wanted to develop a better palate for tea. They recommended Twinings, which I have been buying ever since. A couple years ago a big burly guy on YT, in cammo and full frizzy beard, casually mentioned that Twinings Lady Grey is now HIS favorite tea. Curious, I tried it, and now this is now our household's favorite tea. I use a thermometer and do not put the teabag in the hot water until it is just under 180 degrees. For us, 178 is ideal. Keeps the sharpness of any tannin at bay. No sugar necessary.

Lady Grey Tea
This is really good tea. Not as strong or bitter as Earl Grey, just a good taste.

A great fresh "earl grey"
I am a fan of many varieties of black tea and specifically Earl Grey. My favorite is a cream earl grey (but that's for a different review!). But lately, I have really been enjoying the lady grey for a slightly lighter and brighter/citrusy cup of tea. I add just a little honey and a splash of milk although I think it tastes great without either as well. I like my tea a bit stronger so I also use two tea bags. I don't love individually wrapped tea bags as it seems like a waste, but it is convenient for travel and the packaging makes the box easy to pop open and closed to grab a few.

Lady Grey Every Day
Lady Grey is my favorite tea that I drink every morning. If you are trying it for the first time I suggest getting the "Twinings Black Tea Variety Pack" that has 20 bags total: 5 tea bags each of Lady Grey, Earl Grey, English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast. This is found in most grocery stores for $3 to $4 a box. Twinings also has more expensive Lady Grey options in their loose leaf or their aromatics tea bags. For everyday use I buy bulk of their classics box. Out of over 50 boxes I don't think I have ever seen a twinings tea bag break. I personally like that it has a light citrus flavor and cream blends well with it. It also makes a delicious ice tea and can also be used along side other herbs, like sage, and teas to make some delicious blends or base for boba/bubble tea or tea smoothies.

Favorite tea
IYKYK this is one of the best flavors of teas around, and a lot of people don’t know, so when you find it you get it and you get extra! Black tea with citrus flavors, bold and bright and a total game changer

Best tea ever!
You won’t find a more refreshing flavor of tea. I have tried many and this is my favorite! My husband always drinks hot earl grey tea, but not anymore! I feel like lady gray is softer and more refreshing than earl grey. It spruces up your selections if you enjoy hot tea! I drink mine with honey. Try it and you’ll be hooked!
