Works great. PCM only, so make sure your digital output is set to PCM (NO Dolby) or you'll get a horrible noise. Seems to be well built. No charger, only a USB cable. But it does come with a short fiber cable included too, so you don't have to buy one if your devices are within 3 feet of each other.

Easy to hook up with supplied optical cable to my Sony TV for audio and USB cable to Sony TV USB port for power. Then the two RCA connection to the stereo system provides clean and line level audio feed. Just works! The item arrived is just like pictured in Amazon description. The only situation you will encounter could be, there are many similar and even the same picture products on Amazon, which one to buy? I say get the least expensive one with good shipping date and provider. They are likely exactly the same thing.

I needed this converter to allow the use of headphones with my TV. Connection was simple and everything worked first time.

I haven't used this product yet so I can't rate it. I just didn't want to be inundated with more requests for reviews if I ignored this one. I'm sure it'll work fine for what I paid for it.

Item did not work. Called customer service and they walked me through the hookup process, and it still did not work. They offered to send a replacement product, but by the time they got around to getting back to me, I had already returned the item to Amazon.

Exactly as promised. Great Product.

I hooked it upto the digital sound outlet on my TV and then I hooked the RCA cable to the VCR audio input on my older Panasonic surround sound amp. and it works fine.

It is exactly as advertised. Economical,simple, audio clear
