Versatile
We used these latches on our vintage looking pantry doors. I love the way they look. They’re easy to open and work so well with our decor. I did notice some of the paint/powder coating had chipped off on one corner. It doesn’t really show nor does it affect the way it functions, so we’re happy with it.

Worth the money.
Nicely made and for the duration! Looks like it will hold up very well. Handsome, rustic look.

good quality
nice quality but I wish it did not use flathead screws. just took a little longer to install as had to pre drill holes. I guess the Phillip head look would not look old fashion enough. otherwise, looks good and works good.

Great heavy duty latch
Heavy duty and looks really nice. It's the perfect size for a fence gate or as a latch for a trunk which is what I used it for. I love the look!

They show up with chipped paint
I bought two of these on separate occasions. They are a nice design--and the latch works very well for a low gate that you can reach over from the outside--but both latches showed up with the paint badly chipped in several places, exposing the underlying metal. I had to buy a can of Rustoleum, and do touch up on each before installing it. That added expense and time cost it the two stars on my review.

decent price if it lasts. on my second unit. the first had the lock bar snap, after a breeze pushed at the door. yes, a breeze, not a gust of wind. hate to waste the time, but other replacement s were 3x the price and the size worked.

Not very secure
Not suitable on some doors as latch can open too easily if door not back stopped.
