It didn’t work for me.
Great idea but my dog used as a bed.

Very convenient, especially overnight.
I did a lot of research on products like this before bringing home my pup at the end of March. We've been getting on great with this dog toilet since then (2 months) and I would recommend it. Here are some of the main points:THE DOG IS HAPPY TO USE IT=======================I used the trick of putting some wee-soaked kitchen roll under the grass to teach my pup where I wanted her to go, and she got the hang of it right away. We did have some other peeing accidents at first (especially on my rugs because she was used to weeing on fabric reusable potty pads at the breeders, which have a similar texture to carpet), but she's very much got the hang of it now and I'd say that happened fairly quickly.Since we brought her home (9 weeks), she has never had a poo accident in the house, and will use the dog toilet overnight to poop on.Essentially, because she has this dog toilet, we haven't had to get up in the night to let her outside. This is probably the biggest bonus, and IMO worth the cleaning.SIZE====Our dog (a pem corgi) is quite small and this is a good size for her. She has once missed her target and weed on the floor while standing on the grass. It does take up a fair bit of your floor (if your house is small like mine) and doesn't look nice. I hope that I'll be able to come up with a better location for it at some point.GREAT CLEANING PRODUCTS=======================The cleaning products that come with this toilet have been a godsend for potty-training accidents (which are now thankfully much less frequent) and I am so pleased with them. They smell nice and work really well. I have bought extra of both in the last couple of months.SMELL/CLEANING==============At first, when this was the main place that the dog was going to the toilet, the toilet did need more regular cleaning to not smell (needed doing about twice a week). Now the dog prefers to go outside (she will wait to go outside in the morning, despite having access to the dog toilet all the time), so she will only use the toilet a couple of times a week and I find that now it still doesn't smell after a week or even 10 days - it may even go longer but I've been cleaning it about that regularly. Your milage may vary, mine is a smallish dog (corgi).Cleaning the dog toilet is fine, but not overly easy. The wee sort of sits on top of the grass, so I've found that I have to pick up the corners and tip it to make sure the wee has run off into the tray before I empty it (the first time I definitely got some wee on the floor as I wasn't expecting this). If you use the pee powder in the tray, scraping it out is a bit of a gross job.I actually bought this specific toilet because of the machine-washable grass, but I haven't used that feature yet. I replace the dirty grass with the spare one, then rinse the used grass outside (using an outdoor tap), then soak it with some of the pong buster, then hang it on the washing line (this is a quick process, definitely no more than 10 mins, probably closer to 5). When it's dry, I store it to swap out for next time. This seems to do a good job and for some reason, I felt more inclined to do this than put it in the washing machine.TEETHING PROBLEMS=================After a week or so, my puppy learned what great fun it was to drag the grass off, getting wee all over the (thankfully not carpeted) floor. While the toilet manufacturer makes clips to keep the grass in place, it is impossible to get hold of them on their own (and apparently they break anyway). We used small trigger clamps to hold the grass in place for a few weeks while she grew out of this habit, during which time she also tried to chew the clamps. Thankfully this behaviour did not last long, as I thought it might have been the end of the dog toilet experiment.THE FUTURE==========As my dog is becoming potty-trained, I'll have less need for this, but I like the idea that my dog wouldn't have to hold it and become upset if for any reason she needed to go while I was out (e.g. she was ill or I was waylaid coming home from work).

Brilliant product
The turf washes very well at 30 degrees and does not all come apart like the cheaper model on sale, the tray can be washed out in your bath in seconds, Wish we had known about this product a few months ago
