Ever been in a situation where your lug nut got a rounded head or can't be removed. Well the answer is this RocketSocket tool. Works perfectly and removed a stuck bolt easily. This is made in the USA with quality steel and requires you to pound it on with a heavy mallet or mini-sledgehammer type hammer. Use a manual 1/2" cheater bar or my favorite a 1/2" Milwaukee impact wrench. The nut will be removed in 30 seconds. Make sure to confirm the socket is attached to the rounded or broken lug nut, if you don't you'll wear it even out more and make it impossible to remove. Rocket Socket is excellent overall! I got the whole set to complement other bolts that are non-automotive.

I had a lug that was rounded on my travel trailer. I was going through a precheck of the trailer before a long trip and found a damaged lug. I tried other wrenches, pounding sockets on the lug which just resulted in more lug damage. I decided to try the Rocket Socket based on YouTube reviews and the fact it is made in the USA. On my first attempt, I just pushed on by hand. It did grab the outer shell of the lug which then just spun without loosening the lug. On my second attempt, I hammered the Rocket Socket on which got a better bite on the lug. The lug came right off with no problem. I used the punch that comes with the Rocket Socket to dislodge the lug from the socket. It really grabbed the lug tight but came right out using the punch. I will always keep one of these Rocket Sockets in my emergency toolset. Rounded lugs are pretty common since all the tire centers use the powerful impact wrenches to install tires. I was lucky I found my rounded lug in a precheck verses on the side of the road somewhere. A set of extractor sockets can be really expensive. This Rocket Socket did a great job, is made in the USA and is a good price. I like it.

Firstly, this product is "Project Farm Endorsed" (great tool review channel on YouTube).Instructions are minimal, but a quick internet search will tell you how to use this awesome tool. Set this socket on your stripped lug, take a 5 pound rubber mallet to it in order for it to "bite" into the metal of your stubborn lug, and then attach a 1/2 inch breaker bar with extension to torque that sucker off.Bought a new impact wrench and got too excited that I used a slightly too large socket to remove my lugs and stripped 3 of them before I realized my mistake. Tried what the local AutoZone had in stock, which was a reverse thread type lug extractor. Didn't work for jack and cost me $30. Then I remembered this product and ordered right away. Only had to wait a day for it to arrive, but worth it because this removed each of my stripped lugs without too much consternation.And made in USA!

Broke free a shredded security lugnut off my suv with ease. Flips for range of lug sizes and super heavy duty means I am set in case this happens again on a vehicle in the future.

I lost the key to my locking lugs and had to find something to take them off. I first went to a local auto parts store and bought an inferior product that used fine reverse threads to spin off the locks. The product was advertised as specifically being made for this purpose. While it did take the lock off, it was impossible to remove the lug afterwards turning it into a single use tool and a waste of $20. The rocket socket, while warning not to use on locking lugs, worked amazing. A problem was my lugs had a washer around them which had to be cut away before the lugs could be punched out. The only other problem was with the knock out pin. It was way too small to be effective. I used a larger punch to knock out the lugs.

I had to get this only because I messed up a lug.I probably will only use this the one time, but it was the only way I was going to get the lug nut off.I worked like a charm.I probably will get a of these for regular nut and bolts later.

As you can see in the picture, I had a very stripped PCV Valve. I could not get this removed for anything. My car is 14 years old and as the 2nd owner I am pretty sure this is the original. My car was starting rough and when I removed the PCV Valve hose, there was some oil. I tried everything to get the PCV Valve off, even PB Blaster. Nothing was moving this thing hence, me stripping it. ShyteI did a big search for what to do and came across the RocketSocket extractor and emailed the Seller saying I have a 19 mm PCV Valve and didn't know which product to use. They suggested this one. I was excited to get it and then realized even though I have a breaker bar, I needed the extensions. I highly suggest making sure you have a breaker bar, extension bar and then this RocketSocket. A few taps of the RocketSocket to get it on the PCV valve and then just a slight push of the breaker bar and ShaZam I was able to get the PCV Valve off! Thankfully this all worked. Great Seller and the most perfect socket extractor to have!

Worked good on a mangled lugnut but when I tried to use it on a caliper mounting bolts it completely rounded the head of the bolt and the grips in the socket started to round off too. Now I've got a bolt I can't get out and a socket that won't grip
