Arm & Hammer Diaper Bag Dispenser

This diaper bag dispenser is so convenient to keep in the diaper bag or stroller. The bags are easy to pull out, durable, and do a great job containing odors until I can throw the diaper away. I love the compact size, and the Arm & Hammer baking soda helps keep unpleasant smells under control. It’s simple to refill and has become an everyday essential for outings with my baby. These bags are amazing for diaper changes when you're out and about! They do a great job of locking in odor once you seal a dirty diaper inside, you can't smell it at all. They're easy to use, convenient to keep in the diaper bag, and definitely a must-have for parents on the go.

We are on the go a lot and I prefer not to leave dirty diapers in other people's trash cans as a courtesy. These are handy to have! I have twins, so that means two diapers at a time, and these bags will hold them both in a changing. The scent is light and not offensive; however in a terrible stink situation, I am not sure how much that is actually effective verses just tying up the bag and locking away the stink. One aspect I really like is the ability to wind the bags back into the dispenser after pulling one off to use. That way you don't have a "tail" hanging out of the dispenser. Also, the dispenser will hold other brands of bags including off brands if you need to get refills on the cheap. I prefer to purchase the replacements made for the dispenser because of the quality of the bags, but there are other options to use with the dispenser. Side note for what it's worth - at time of my purchase (even with a registry discount) I found out I could get twice as much product for only a couple of dollars more at Walmart, so if you are budget savvy, you might want to check options.

We tried several different brands and styles of diaper bags, mostly because these Arm & Hammer ones aren't exactly the cheapest on the market, but we came back to these after being unhappy with other brands. When it comes down to it, a diaper bag needs to fill one basic function: contain a dirty diaper AND its odor. If it can't do that, it doesn't matter what it looks like, how easily it closes, or what it's made of. With that in mind, here's why I find these bags superior to others we have tried: 1) They are just tough enough. In other words, if they were any thinner they might tear too easily, but if they were any thicker they would be unnecessarily thick and heavy. They strike the right balance between toughness and compactness. 2) They don't have drawstrings or any other fancy ties. While this may seem like a downside, consider what drawstring trash bags look like when you cinch them shut: no matter how tightly you pull the strings, the bag never really closes completely; there's always a small hole there, right? Normally that's not a big deal, but if the bag happens to contain a dirty diaper, even a small hole won't do -- trust me. So if you want to close these bags tightly, you have to tie a simple knot in them, which DOES seal the odor in. 3) They are compact: the roll of 30 bags is very small, making them easy to transport, even inside the plastic dispenser. Lest I get too carried away, here are a few things I DON'T like about these bags: 1) Their smell. It's billed as "lavendar," and I suppose that's what it is, but I'm not a fan. Fortunately it's not a super strong odor, so it hasn't been tough to tolerate, and it does smell better than the bags' contents... 2) The dispenser. It's simple and compact, but getting a bag out of it can take some fiddling. On the other hand, it's easy to rotate the roll within the dispenser so that the bags are unlikely to come out on their own. 3) The price. But again, I tried less expensive diaper bags from several other brands and kept coming back to this one. This is a case where you do, apparently, get what you pay for.

My kids are grown but I'm stuck with two recalcitrant kitties who poop alot. I've gone the grocerybag into garbage route that we know requires daily outside dumping or a stench. Then I discovered Litter Locker, a great brilliant invention that actually works. The Locker comes w cartidges ($5 each) and w two cats I go thru a cartidge a week. Paying a minimum of $20 a month, plus premium unscented corn litter, and a sensitive diet for their tummies, my budget was in overdrive. So I looked around for a substitute for the Locker cartidges and one customer noted she used Diaper Genie refills, but these are also expensive for high poop households. I was desparate and said for $4 let me try the new line of Arm and Hammer bags because I've just started using their unscented litter which is sold at a very low price on some sites (dealnews.com)Their litter is fabulous, very slightly scented and my cats dont like perfume on the laundry or their litter...or me. The little diaper bag is hard plastic and the bags pull out as needed, they're segmented to tear off. The plastic holder needs some improvment, it tends to pop open, but its not bad enough to ditch the idea-I scoop 4x a day, and with all that from 2 cats I fill ONE diaper bag and once its tied, you cant smell anything. The nosy cats cant even smell the bags which are now stored in the bottom of the Litter Locker until end of week, everything is tossed into a single garbage bag. The Arm &Hammer bags are totally biodegradable. No big deal in the general scheme of life, however a huge savings for me, but also providing the same quality of life for all of us in a teeny apartment. This is such a nicely priced product, if you have a cat, buy the starter holder and roll and just try it.

We got these as a gift for another baby and it was surprisingly useful! They really keep the smell out. Bags are nice and thick, and it’s nice that it comes with a set of refill bags. The ones they sent us are lavender scent, which I didn’t expect by the pictures- but they still smell nice. We got it on sale for $3.50 and I felt like that was a good value. Overall a nice thing to have for your diaper bag!

This is such a great product for when you're out and about. My biggest pet peeve is where to throw a dirty diaper when at someone's house. The scented bags mask the smell until it's throw out. Super multi function whether is be for car sickness, wet swim suits or just quick garbage collection.

Every travelling mum should purchase this. Easy, compact and I can actually find it in my bag! It is so simple to refill and when my baby decides to spend the afternoon pulling all the roll out! Great value for money. I would definitely recommend.
