Simple ingredients
I have a severe allergy to onion and garlic. Most tuna says its in water but its a vegetable broth. This item really just has water and tuna in it. It is very flavorful and I enjoy that I am able to have canned tuna thats safe for me.

Used to be my dog's favorite tuna topping for dog kibble
Meaty chunks looked and smelled fine and dog loved them. Easy open cans a real bonus when preparing dog's early morning meal. Unfortunately, became difficult to obtain through "subscribe and save" because they were frequently out and kept trying to substitute other products for higher costs and they wanted to raise the price excessively for same brand with easy open lids. What started out as 12 cans for about $15 would sometimes get price changed to over $70 for same 12 cans if you did not cancel order. Too unreliable and variably priced for my wallet.

good taste and texture
For the most part I find tuna is tuna. I do prefer a firmer chunk over a tin of mush. This is the former. Nice for salads, wrapping, etc. Good taste and texture. A welcome addition to my pantryProduct of Thailand (fyi many are).

Best Tuna
Polar Chunk Light Tuna is caught wild and is ONLY skipper jack tuna. Of all types of tuna, skipper jack has the least amount of mercury, so you can eat more often than other types, like albacore. And in the can is solid chunks — not minced like Chicken of the Sea/Starkist. I can’t find this in the grocery store where I currently live, so I’m thankful I can order online!!

Solid quality but price keeps increasing
Nice flavor and not mushy typically. But the price keeps rising at a hefty clip. In the last six months or so this has gone up around $25. I understand inflation but that is like a 40% increase in price.I'd say it's a buy at $60 or less, but a hard pass in the $80 range.

Simply the best.
Have been eating this tuna for years. Have one can and you won’t buy the cheap tuna in store again. This is solid chuck tuna.
