Wifi Range Extender
What I like about the Wifi Range Extender is that the AC750 is praised for effectively extending WiFi coverage in areas where the signal is weak or spotty. It’s particularly useful in larger homes or buildings with multiple floors. With the dual-band support, the extender can operate on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies, providing flexibility and better performance for different devices. The combined speed of up to 750Mbps is sufficient for most typical internet activities, like streaming and browsing. Also The one-button setup feature is a major plus, allowing me to quickly and easily connect the extender to the existing WiFi network. The WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) button makes the process straightforward even for those like me are not tech-savvy. I also wanted to say that the compact, wall-plug design of the AC750 makes it unobtrusive and easy to install in any room without taking up much space. It blends well with most home decor and lastly the extender via the TP-Link Tether app adds convenience. Users can adjust settings, monitor connected devices, and manage the network remotely, which is particularly handy.

Ring doorbell fix
My ring doorbell is getting damaged from the Florida sun and usually the connection starts to deplete. I’ve been having connectivity issues where it even fully just disconnects leaving me with no access to my camera, even though I never moved the camera or the WiFi modem, but with this extender I was able to have excellent connection again. Such an easy and affordable fix opposed to purchasing a ring brand, over priced, extender. I’m not a fan of the company as their customer service has been getting worse and it seems their devices are designed to stop working and when you call them they have salesman that are disguised as troubleshooters, to try to sell you a new product, so I love fixing things without giving them a penny

Works with my Starlink for Magic Jack
I bought this to replace a failing repeater I had for a magic jack. I have Starlink and did NOT have to separate my 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands. I saw someone else had to do that but I did not. I was a little annoyed I needed an app and an account with TP-Link to set this device up. But once setup I just deleted the app. It has been working fine for the last few days and does exactly what I need it for. The speeds from it are a fraction of my actual internet speed but that is fine for phone calls. I would not recommended this to anyone who wants serious performance but that should go without saying for the price.

Worked for 1 week then would not transmit
The product did work as described. Came in a plain unmarked box with the item name on it. No instructions as to how to set up, just a little scrap of paper with just a web link that was basically useless. After an online search for how to set it up using the actual device name located on the booster, I had to install the brand's piss poor excuse for an app to get it to work with my home network. After about an hour or so of hit or miss connections and frequent error on the app, device finally set up.Once I moved it to the location where the dead zone was, it worked perfectly...for about a week. Then it kept resetting and kicking off all devices connected. I initially thought it was the modem so I reset that. But after about 45 minutes the issue started again. That's when I decided to return...hence my 2nd bad experience with this product began. Unlike the rest of the hundreds of thousand other sellers that use UPS to come and pick up with a ready made label, I actually had to "old school print it out". Now if I was working, that wouldn't have been an issue as I would have had access to a printer. But now, thanks to COVID, I don't have access to a printer ANYWHERE and printers are literally sold out everywhere (I'm talking about the basic home printer for under $100. You can get business sized printers still but that's another gripe for another review) so printing the return label was a pain and took me over two weeks to find someone to print one for me and get it to me. That was 2 weeks ago. As of today I still don't have my refund from this seller and after speaking with an Amazon representative yesterday (9-7-2020) Amazon can't issue the refund because the party is a third party dealer.I'm beyond frustrated.Just don't get it.Its not worth the hassle.Amazon will not refund this item.I can't even get a hold of the seller.SO THEY GOT THEIR PRODUCT BACK 2 WEEKS AGO AND STOLE MY MONEY.I do not recommend.

Be sure your internet router is not "blended" before installation
I believe the "Quick Installation Guide" should come with a "pre-step" before you follow the installation instructions. You need to contact your internet provider to determine if your router is "blended". If your router has both a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and BOTH use the SAME Wi-Fi name AND password, you need to get the 2.4 GHz to be segregated to allow connection to this Range Extender. It took several hours with calls (including wait times) to my internet provider and TP-Link support to finally get this resolved in order for the Extender to work. I initially used the "chat function" for TP-Link Support and that was also a laborious process. It seems the Support representative is answering several chats as the same time so I would answer a question and then wait 2-5 minutes for a response. This took almost a half hour until we got to the "blended" issue that required resolution first. (I recommend you call TP-Link Support rather than using the Chat function if you have a "blended" router.) Once my internet provider segregated my 2.4 GHz setting, the Extender was easy to set up. As for the product itself, it has extended the range of my wireless internet to my back bedroom, but only slightly. I at least have the minimum amount (one "dot", not two or three "waves"), but it's better than no wireless at all. I tried to move the Extender another 10 feet closer to the hallway, but that was out of the range for the Extender to connect to my router. However, for $20, it does provide wireless to the back room, but the installation process was NOT "quick".
