Nirider Chase Light Bar, 20 Inch Rear Light Bar Offroad Slim Strobe LED Light Bar w/Turn Signal Brake Reverse Light for UTV RZR Polaris 4x4 Truck Dune Buggy ATV Off Road - Red Amber White

It is surprisingly bright. It seems to be very high-quality especially given the very low price. The only problem is the instructions are poorly written. Other purchasers have asked what the orange wire is for and received a blanket response that was not helpful. The confusion results from the fact there are two red wires, one 22 gauge and the other 24 gauge. I didn’t find any orange wire. The 22 gauge wire is the main power supply, while the 24 gauge wire is the trigger for the brake light. Nowhere in the directions is it explained the in line switch most be in the on position for ANY of the functions to operate. I assumed the switch controlled the strobe. In addition, turning the switch on does not start the strobe. You have to push the button that selects the strobe pattern to start the strobe feature. This should be explained in the instructions.I was reluctant to buy this light due to the inline switch, but ended up mounting this switch to my roof and roll cage using two sided tape. Not ideal, but it works.Finally the instructions warn not to cut or splice the wire harness with the switch as it may void the warranty. This is nonsense! What are the chances the wire is the exact right length? I cut and spliced as required, and the light functions perfectly.I just installed it, and after figuring out the switch has to be on for ANY of the features to work, had no problems. Only time will tell how long it will work, but it seems solidly built.

The remote is on the cheap side

Awesome light, pretty bright and low profile

Although it was easy to install and it is very bright the on/off function is very inconvenient. Each time the vehicle accessory power is cycled one MUST push the ON button on the remote to reactive the light. Installing an on/off rocker switch for the light is a complete waste of time and effort. Poor electronics design in my opinion.

CAN AM- we fabricated a cage to incorporate the light, wired it all took it out on 4/8 worked great for 7hrs and then it quit!

Update 10/10/2021: The left side Yellow has now failed as well. Since it was out of warranty I opened it up to see if I could fix it myself. I looks like there are two 47uh SMD Choke Coils which failed. The seal was in pristine shape, no moisture present. This is a pure component failure probably due to high operating temperature is my guess. I go on all day rides, sometimes in really hot temps so it isn't surprising. I'm was really pleased at how well the unit was sealed. Mechanically no issues. I could probably replace the SMD chokes and get it working again but its easier just to buy a new unit than spend the hours it would take to pry the board loose and re-solider the failed components. I'd say if you use it in mild temps for short periods of time you would never see this.Update 10/15/2021: The white LEDs have stopped working at 13 months. All the white LEDs do not work. The Amber and Red LEDs still work fine. Dropping my review rating a couple of stars. I still like this unit, I just wish it would have lasted longer. I probably will purchase this newer version with the inline switch vs. the remote control to replace it as I really like it. Just wish it would have held up better.The 20” model is brighter than I was thinking it would be. Visible really well in daylight. Definitely will catch attention of followers. Just comes with a bare pigtail so you need to be able to install a 5 pin connector. Turn signal does not have flash built into system which is strange. I grabbed a 3 pin LED compatible flasher generate the flash signal and it flashes great. Can’t beat what you get for the price. Remote control has one button which cycles through the flash modes and another button which turns off flash modes.

Order one of these and the remote did not work, light did none of the modes just brake light worked, got a replacement one next day and the brake light and left turn only work remote and modes still do not work, Reyes contacting seller no response, I only have space for a 20 inch light bar on my cage so going to attempt getting a third replacement a lot of wasted time so far hopefully will get a seller response
