I use these on every bench and big machine in my shop. They are easy to mount and work great

Quite an excellent set of casters that makes it easy to move my new workbench around the shop. I installed them up 1 3/8" (1.4" per their sheet) from the bottom of the legs using the 6 screws for each as provided. The bench is made with 8 - 4x4s, 6" screws & 2 - 3/4" 4'x8' ply that weights in over 200 #s (so far with more options to add) so a means to move it was a requirement. Foot or an easy push with my hand to engage for a 360 convenient movement over the concrete floor. Reasonable price and they included a thin wrench to help install the nut w/lock ring caster setup onto the bracket. I plan to order more sets for the table saw, jointer, etc.

Works as advertised. Allows me to move a heavy workbench around with ease. Took one star off because of no instructions on how to properly mount the wheels and because the supplied wrench doesn’t fit the wheel nuts ( too small by a fraction). I had to find another wrench that worked- luckily I had a thin one.

I used these on my table saw. The provided screws are wood screws so used my own bolts. So far they work great, making the saw easily moveable. Construction of brackets and wheels seems to be robust and sturdy; time will tell. One aspect that was greatly appreciated is that everything is assembled with nuts and bolts. No rivets or press-fit connections that eventually work loose. This made it easy to disassemble and measure and mount only the brackets before putting everything back together.

My workbench weighs over 300 pounds. These retractable casters makes lifting and moving the bench easy. They are simple to install and operate. I would buy the set again if needed.

These are good if you have a perfectly flawless floor. My garage floor has a few tiny bumps and these wheels are just too small to roll around nicely. I have 4" wheels on all of my other stuff and they work perfectly. I've only tested with my bench with nothing on it so far. So, about 150lbs. If I add some weight, I'm not sure I'll be able to move it without these tiny wheels breaking. I'll probably either look for a different option or see if there are better quality retractable casters, and just throw these away. I would use them on a tiny workbench I have, but I know it would be the same result. So just know, the floor has to be bump free. And to be clear, I don't really have bumps in my floor, there are little dime-sized holes, and they don't have the diameter for something so itty bitty to not affect them.

These guys ended up being very robust and easy to set up and mount to the posts of my very large and heavy work bench. The only issues I’ve had, and it’s more my fault really, is the cam lever is so beefy I have to wear thick shoes to raise and lower the casters down because it is painful to do in thin sneakers, maybe due to the weight of the work bench. The other thing to be mindful of is the caster wheels themselves are wide and I didn’t leave quite enough room for the wheels to freely rotate in all directions, again mostly my fault and I should have mounted them further out from the base. Good product and the finish on them is holding up and not scratching.

These casters work as expected. I purchased them with the mounting plates from Powertec. I can’t comment on whether this combo can hold 800 lbs, my bench does not weight that much. I don’t know what it weighs but it is perhaps 350 lbs. The casters and the mounting plates are very convenient as a package. A word of warning, any casters like this will twist your bench as only one leg can be lifted at a time. That said, some people have attached a bar between 2 casters so both can be raised or lowered together. I have not done that but like the idea.

The included temple takes away the need to measure anything. Easy to install even though I hate Philips head screws. These casters makes things super easy to make the bench mobile.

Very impressed with this product, just what i needed.

Highly recommended, these castors are great, ignore those comments about poor instructions, you don't need them as they are easy to install. My bench is very heavy and they work very well, makes moving it around the floor a breeze.
