I don't know really how to rate this item. When I first got it and used it I fell in love with it. It worked great and was so easy to use. Now I have had this dryer for about a month and have used it maybe 4 times. As I was using it today, it kept shutting off on me but the switch was still on. I changed plugs just incases it was lose or something. A few seconds later I hear aloud pop and fire sparked out of the bottom where the cord meets the dryer. I unplugged it immediately and I could also smell like burnt wires. I want to return but I don't know if I trust getting another one. So disappointed.

I am very impressed with this brush. I have super thick frizzy hair and it dried very fast and the texture of my hair is nice and smooth. With a regular blowdryer it usually ends up like a big, frizzy mess! Definitely exceeded my expectations! It did have a bit of a plastic smell when I first started using it but it faded away after a few seconds.

I heard about the Revlon dryer and during my research found this one. I wasn't familiar with the manufacturer but I decided to chose it because it had so many good reviews. I always let my hair air dry at least 50% or more just because I hate to dry my hair and after drying I always had to use another hot tool so I wanted to limit the total amount of heat I put on my hair. I've had it about 2 weeks and so far I love this thing. I've never really had the hand strength or coordination to do the round brush and dryer well. I think since I wasn't that great at it, that resulted in my having to use another hot tool afterwards because I couldn't get the look I wanted just with the dryer. With this, it's one tool and you can use both hands. It's a breeze. It does get hot on the highest setting but it dries the hair quickly and the best part is, I'm able to get it looking the way I want using just this that I don't have to use anything else. My hair is coarse and frizzy in texture and this gives me a nice look that I'm not needing anything else. This does it all in one shot. Big time saver. My hair is about shoulder length and the shape of it really does allow me to get me volume. Love it.One year update - I've had this about a year now and I still love it. I still let my hair air dry at least 50% or more before I dry my hair still in an effort to use as little heat as necessary on my hair. I've never really used this on really wet hair. As I noted in my original review, it does get very hot so because of that I never use this without first generously applying a heat protectant. I can see that if you don't properly protect your hair, as hot as this gets it could easily cause damage. After I dry on the hot setting, I then switch to cool and make a few passes through on cool to set it. I've let my hair grow a few inches longer than when I first got this and it still works great even for the longer length which is now a few inches below my shoulders.

Ya’ll I have some serious hair issues! I basically have hair made of straw or doll hair. It doesn’t feel like human hair. I thought for sure this would get tangled all in it like round brushes do. But, I was wrong. This runs through my hair smoothly. It’s not enough to straighten my hair by itself. I still have to straighten the ends. But, my hair is pretty curly & it’s drastically cuts down on my styling time!

Hairstylists make it look easy to blow dry your hair while using a big round brush. I've tried it, but I don't have the coordination. I saw this hairdryer brush and thought it would be much easier to use. It is. I have very thick hair that takes me about 30 minutes with the hair dryer. Then another 45 minutes of flat ironing. This hairdryer brush cut that time by more than half. I can dry and style my hair in about 15-20 minutes. That's with the brush on setting number two. It goes up to three. 3 gets very hot, but 2 seems to work great for my hair. As another person mentioned, there was a smell for the first couple minutes, but I find that's pretty common with heat tools. The brush is quite a bit bigger than I was expecting and the oval shape is interesting. The skinny side is great for making tighter waves, while the wide side gives a more flowy look. The tip of the brush has a space for you to hold with your fingers so you don't get burnt. I'm not at hairstylist with a round brush level yet, but with some more practice I think I'll be pretty close. I'm never blow drying and flat ironing my hair again. If you have a ton of hair and have difficulties working 2 hair tools at once, this brush will be your best friend.

The product is really nice packaged and its really big, was waiting for a smaller version of this type of dryers. The drying process is really fast and let me tell you tes it does give you the volume many look for. I am really pleased with my purchase and will defiantly recommend it to any of my friends.

I have naturally curly that is almost grazing my shoulders and this thing gets it all straight and smooth. Even all the cowlicks around my hairline are no problem. I have tried doing a blowout with a round brush and my arms just couldn’t manage it. And even with my best attempts my hair in the back would still be pouffy and frizzy with the ends sticking out in all directions. Even though this tool can be a little heavy at times it is nothing compared to holding a dryer and brush and having no free hands. Also it doesn’t blow the rest of my hair around while drying one section! That makes a HUGE difference. I don’t even need the hottest setting with my curly hair. It does great on the third setting!

What can I say except that this thing has changed my life! I am way too uncoordinated to do the whole “round brush and blow dry” thing on myself so I used to just quickly dry my hair and then either flat iron or curl it separately. No more! Every time I use this it looks like I just got my hair professionally blown out. I got the hang of it super quickly. It’s get REALLY hot, and my hair is REALLY hot right after using it, but it doesn’t seem to be damaging my hair in the same way that flat ironing it did. Best thing I’ve bought for my hair, EVER.
