Future Way 6-Pack Prefilter A for Honeywell HPA300 Series Air Purifiers, HRF-A300 Carbon Pre Filter, Thickened to 1/4 Inch

I use these in my 3 large air filters. Just cut to fit. I can get 3 out of a sheet. I change these every month and saves me from having to change out the expensive air filter so often.

Didn't like that I had to cut too size

Purchased these as an alternative to the Honeywell brand. Fit is perfect. Exact same thing for way cheaper.

It works as good as brand named filter but much less expensive

I've had my Honeywell HPA100 for bedroom and HPA200 for living in small apartment. Both units are excellent at remove dust and allergens in a 1920's building w/ two window a/c units, hardwood floors with rugs.1st pic is HPA200 after almost 2 months of dust, pet dander, with the Included Honeywell Pre-Filter.2nd pic is with new FutureWay Premium Carbon Air Filter fit perfectly. Could slightly thicker as advertised I'm not the best judge when things are that close size. I'l say that FutureWay is at same thickness or more.3rd pic. Is same FutureWay HPA200 Pre-Filter vs Honeywell HPA100 Pre-Filter. I put both against a window to see how they compare.4th pic is same shot I just backed up so fellow shoppers can see the Brand Name boxes for each.I was surprised to that the although the FutureWay filters feel and look identical to Honeywell, once I looked at them with daylight coming thru I can see the difference. I'm no expert but it looks like its just that the FutureWay Pre-Filters are not the same density. I'd only be guessing but maybe less charcoal embedded or not a tight of as tightly woven.I'd say the FutureWay Premium Carbon Pre-Filters at 6/$15.99 vs the Honeywell HPA200 Pre-Filters at 6/$59.99 on Amazon is good value.I added a 2nd FutureWay Filter to my HPA200. The air was moving thru the single filter a lot faster than the Honeywell. Once I put the 2nd filter it seemed similar to the single Honeywell.I'll see how well doubling up the FutureWay Filters works compared to the single Honeywell filter.If that works I'd still save money. Buying 2 packs of FutureWay Filters 2(15.99) about $32 vs the $59.99 Honeywell HPA200 Filters. Worth a try to see if they work.

These filters are precut and fit perfectly in the 14 x 11.25 x .25 cavity of a Honeywell purifier. Use to buy the more expensive, cut to size sheet. This product is much more cost effective.

Its just a blend of cotton and synthetic fibers that looks like activated carbon filters.Even though they fit properly and are cheap, I cant give more than 1 star since its false advertisement.
