Good Value and Looks Nicer than a Chicken Bone
First of all, I've seen a bunch of reviews for this product where people said they didn't like that it was RGB instead of RGBW. Or else people complained that it won't plug into their RGBW connectors. Or that it doesn't have a white-light. Complaining about any of these things is like ordering a bicycle, and then complaining that it only has two wheels instead of four. The description for this product clearly states RGB, and if that's not what you want, then why order this thing and then complain about it? People are weird.Moving on, if you want a support arm for your video card, and prefer something nicer looking than, say, an old chicken-bone wedged into your case, this little product gives you some light-up bling for around $15-20. It's reasonably well-built, and I think it is a good value for the price.I was also pleased to discover that it includes two "Y" connectors that work with both common 3-pin connector variations. (I.e., the three-pin or four-pin-with-one-middle-pin-missing connection types.) The "Y" connectors are a) long enough to actually be useful, and b) allow you to splice into an existing controller-light circuit with male/female connectors. When I ordered this thing, I bought some extension cables separately, which I can now return for a refund. This improves the cost-value of this product.Pros:+ Looks better than an old chicken bone+ Sturdy and well-built+ Lights work well and look good+ Two different "Y" connectors provided+ Includes an extension arm that increases the overall height (if you need it)+ Support covered with a rubber-grippy thing that won't scratch up your video card or short-circuit any exposed partsCons:I only have two minor complaints about this product.1. The support arm that actually holds up the video card ratchets up and down, and is secured in place by a thumb screw. The ratchets ensure that the arm can support a heavy load, since it rests in a ratchet and is not held up by the friction of the thumb screw alone. However, this also means that you can only move the support arm up in increments of approximately 4mm, which might by a tad to high or low for what you actually need. On the other hand, a large video card will have a little play, and you can probably displace it slightly if needed to get this thing to fit underneath snugly, even with the available ratchet slots. So this is really a very minor issue.2. The support arm protrudes back behind the lighted panel at a fixed angle. This keeps everything looking nice, however, the fixed angle means you have to rotate / move around the entire unit in order to find just the right spot for it to hold up your video card. Consequently, the lights on the "front" might not wind up facing in the direction you want! I would prefer the support arm be able to pivot around, and so allow for optimal placement. In addition, the brackets for attaching the support arm should extend both sides of the main unit, which would give even more flexibility in positioning the thing.Large video cards have multiple fans, and care must be taken with any additional support to ensure that rotating fan blades do not get obstructed. A support mechanism needs to be able to hold up a video card close to the edge, and not extend very far underneath. I think an arm with an "L" shaped edge would work better. This way you could place it along the far edge of the video card and it wouldn't protrude more than 1-2 mm or so underneath. It would also distribute load linearly rather than holding everything up at a single-point like the existing arm.Perhaps the manufacturer might consider providing more than one type of support arm? This would give users more options based on their selected computer components and geometry.

Does it's job and looks decent
I picked this up for a new 3060 that I have in a Phanteks P500A case. There are a few little things that keep it from being perfect, but it's not bad for the price. First, the adhesive is strong stuff. Make sure you're lined up when you put it in, because you won't be readjusting it after you put it down. The support piece for the card is angled, which does kind of interfere with cabling, and could be harder based on the cards and number of power cables to it. If there was a back cover to wrap around the wiring it would be a nice addition - whereas I did manage to hide the cables from a straight on view, looking from an angle you can see some. The RGB works fine, but I did notice some major flickering when I first hooked it up. I believe it was a power issue, as I had added it inline with the existing case fans plugged into my MSI motherboard. When I re-routed the bracket's RGB to the 2nd jumper on the motherboard by itself (nothing else plugged in with it on that one), it smoothed out. Granted, the fans have no issues and never gave any flickering but perhaps this is just more sensitive. If you have flickering (I've noted other reviewers mentioned it too), it might be worth trying it by itself to see if that might be related.Overall I'm pleased. It looks decent enough, does the job of supporting the card and now matches the case for lighting. Not quite perfect, but still works well for the value.

Nicely made, works as advertised
First, I want to answer a few of the questions I asked which either got incorrect answers or convoluted misleading answers.1. How tall is this without the extension base? Roughly 6-1/2 inches tall (not 7-1/2 inches as quoted).2. Can the RGB connect and function with a standalone RGB controller. Yes. The unit comes with two adapter cables. One provides what appears to be a standard fan style 3-pin header connection and one provides a standard 3-pin 5V RGB controller connection. No fancy converter needed if you have the right controller connections. In my instance I connected it to a Jonsbo 3-pin 5V RGB controller and it works perfectly in sync with my other Jonsbo RGB items. Now, to the review itself. The unit is well made and well assembled from metal and high quality plastic and rubber. The unit is easy to install and provides more than adequate support for a heavy GPU. The satin black paint of the main unit blends in with with the satin blacks of the inside of most any computer case. The support arm is easy to adjust and the rubber coating to avoid impacting any nearby electrical connections is well thought out.
