Being summer but stuck at home I wanted to imagine I was in Tuscany and bought a couple of bottles of this Mionetto Prosecco DOC Treviso Brut to mix with Aperol to make a spritz cocktail. The rhubarb in the Aperol takes away all the flavour of the prosecco so it doesn't matter what you use within reason and this looked like cheap and cheerful enough. I tried it neat and was really impressed. Whilst not the best ever it does have a sharp acidic taste that I like and lots of small bubbles too, unlike the down market varieties that can be a bit flat. I decided not to waste this on cocktails and drank the rest neat and found a supermarket variety for the sprizzes. Apparently this is made by a German company called Henkell & Söhnlein Sektkellereien KG who specialise in sparking wines including Freixenet Cava and various spumante and Champagne brands so they clearly know their stuff.

Have tried different Mionetto labels, and have never been disappointed. It's now among my favourite prosecco brands. Fast delivery and properly wrapped. Will buy again.

Had been purchasing this from my local Morrissons for £11. Saw it here for £8, no brianer. Love the subtle taste. Delicious bubbly

I love this it taste nice as some processco gives me acid but this doesn't. I think it great for the price would definitely recommend
