Get it! It's easy enough for 1 person to put together in about an hour. You will need a philips screwdriver. There was one portion where the prefabricated whole was a little off so I had to make one myself which was easy enough. Looks just likes the picture and feels sturdy. It came quickly and did not have any scratches.Nice enough for living room storage.

I bought this cabinet for use beside a recliner. I needed something that would store a lot of books as well as tv remotes, computer tablet and journals/writing supplies. It fit my space perfectly.I have made a lot of furniture from kits, and this was one of the easier kits to assemble. I usually end up redoing at least one step when I make things because i am not good at visualizing how things go together. The instructions were very easy to follow. I had serious doubts about the drawers (they use a sort of plastic strap to keep the drawer from falling out when extended) but they work great and hold quite a bit. The doors and drawers match up evenly and perfectly and it is nice looking.It is made of strong mdf/particleboard and covered with wood grain type of finish that is nice looking and easy to clean. It has a metal frame that is incredibly sturdy. The cabinet is very substantial. I would buy it again.

Very nice & easy to put together

Just got this cabinet today and put it together. It took me about 4-5 hours to put together but it was definitely worth it! It is a very sturdy cabinet which is what I would consider high quality. I’ve put together many things over the years that I’m afraid to set a bottle of water on for fear it will crumble but not this one! There was one page (8) in the instructions that I couldn’t find a reason for: not in the description, nor in the booklet with directions on how to assemble. Aside from that, I’d highly recommend this product!

This little cabinet is the perfect size for our tiny house. Although its particle board its appearance isn’t bad. Putting it together took a little time a few of the smaller screws didn’t fit properly but not a deal breaker.

This might be a case where the sum is better than its parts. The quality of materials is low. The dowels were too small for their holes and often fell out during assembly. The finish is worn off of in multiple spots. You can see and feel the underlying particle board in those worn areas (not large areas, but I found at 3 of these small spots of worn material so far).I remedied this by using black spray paint on the worn spots (and quickly toweled off the area so the paint only took to the worn spots and didn't dry over the finished areas). I plan on hitting these newly painted areas with clear coat in order to make them more cohesive and sort of "lock in" the paint with the rest of the finish.One of the wooden pull handles split almost in half when screwing it into the door. The wood was quite dry, it was bound to happen. I used some superglue with black marker to cover the substantial crack that was still showing after gluing together to the best of my ability.I went over all of the pieces with a damp cloth and each piece left a brown residue on the cloth. Not sure if this was the finish coming off (or what?!), but though it worth mentioning in case you have children who can't resist putting their mouths on anything and everything. :)These issues aside, I really do like the look of the finished product! My wife approves as well. If I were looking for a more permanent piece of furniture, I would go with something different. But for our current budget and needs, this will do.

This is good for books, and the top part with the screen holds a collection of stone spheres which are pretty expensive, so most are hidden unless someone spots one and says what's that. I just happen to collect them because I like them and this top part with the screen keeps them a bit safer. It was very easy to put together. All the pieces were there, I just have to finish putting the plastic pieces in the corners of the back where the panels slide in. Haven't done that yet. But it's easy, everything is there and I have a battery powered drill so no problem, just haven't done it yet. It's still sturdy and very useful. I have books in the bottom shelves and when the door is closed they are protected. I like the look and the style and as I get older, it's harder to move the heavier ones I had so I gave them to a young student who needed bookcases. This one is light, moves easily, would break down if I ever had to move and would be easily put in a box and put back together. I have two other pieces from the same company and they were a bit more difficult. Watch for the review on those too.
