Banish Chapped Lips Emu Oil Lip Balm for Severe Dry Lips Jumbo Tube

I was suffering with severe dry, bleeding, scaling lips that began to spread around my outer mouth area. I went to a dermatologist who recommended using over the counter hydrocortisone "gel" and was prescribed prednisone for 3 weeks. This did not even touch it! I used several top recommended lip balms (Burt's Bee, O'Keeffe's, pure jojoba oil) for several more weeks and cut out all acidic, salty foods. Frustrated and ready to find another dermatologist... I decided to search for one last product on (after dealing with this embarrassing issue for over 3 months). I came across "EMU Joy Banish Chapped Lips" after reading about the product I was very skeptical but thought.. one more try. When I received the product and applied the first application I felt instant moisture. Day two and three layers of dead skin was loosening and began to roll off ... I wasn't sure if this was a good thing but my lips/mouth felt so much better. By day 9 my lips and around my mouth were healed. I still cant believe this worked!:) I am still using it and will be placing another order.

Best lip balm ever. I especially like the larger diameter. My lips tend to be dry and for years I used Chapstick brand. So much so that I should have bought stock in the company. For the past year or more I began to suffer from peri-oral dermatitis. Finding the root cause with my dermatologist has been tricky. I had become sensitive to petroleum products which most commercially available lip balms have. Emu Joy is free of those and waxy fer ingredients that make the balms "stiff" to apply. Emu Joy goes on smoothly with no "tugging"on my sensitive lips. No taste or scent that I discern. It stays on longer and I have to apply it less frequently. No stinging. I've ordered two more. One for my nightstand and another for my handbag. I always have one in my pocket. If I want color I use a tint of lip liner after applying the lip balm.Note: The lip liners I use for color I purchased also on Amazon . They are Italia brand in a set of 12 colors.

I put this on right after opening it and my lips instantly soothed out and I can smile without them cracking! The texture is like room temperature butter and goes on smoothly. It didn’t have a taste or smell so I really like that.I will update this post with continued use!UPDATE: 3 months of useI LOVE THIS STUFF! Never have had such a great chapstick. It’s never caused me any issues, and ALWAYS keeps my lips moistured. Not one day has gone by that my lips are cracked or chapped since I bought this. I will continue to purchase this product and recommend it to anyone.

My son is a burn survivor and his physical therapist at the hospital recommended Emu oil to improve scarring and healing of the grafted and damaged skin. His bottom lip was badly burned and months later is still healing and continues to crack and peel. I bought this for him and he said it has made a marked improvement, he has less peeling and the scarring is softening. He said that regular lip balms did not seem to help except to keep the skin less dry. I had to find a product that has no flavoring like menthol which is common or coloring. Your product was the one that fit that need. Thank you for a great quality product.

I have allergies and my lips and skin gets so dry from taking so many different kinds of allergy medications. I've tried different products for my face. Finally I found an emu oil that works wonders for my face. My skin cleared up from hormonal acne and flakiness. I decided to put some on my lips, but there were several problems to using the actual oil. It tasted horrible and way too oily on my lips. So I look up different options and found this product. I've been using it for over 6 months now and I now my lips are loving it.Even though the price is on the higher end than other products, it's comes in a large container - double the size of a regular size chapstick. It glides on smoothly and evenly, light weight, not greasy like the actual oil. A little goes a long way. Once applied, my lips feel like they are fully hydrated. I use it every night. Once I went on week vacation and forgot to take it with me. My lips started to peel and felt like it was so dried up again, even though I used a different store bought shelf brand. When I returned home I applied it again and within 2 days my lips were back to normal. After 6 months of using it practically every night, I still have plenty left to use, I'm only half way done. I think the best part is that I recognize all the ingredients used to make this product, so I know it's safe for me to use. My husband even noticed that my lips are much softer ever since I've used this product. For that reason alone, I will buy it again when this one runs out. I did only rate it 4 stars because the smell (honestly isn't horrible, but maybe a beautiful essential oil smell would be nice) could be improved.

I have tried A LOT of different types of chapsticks. My biggest issue is most are more of a bandaid and doesn't last very long on my lips and just handles for the time that it is on my lips, but once it is gone my lips are dry again.This chapstick is a game changer for me. It is actually penetrating and handles the dry/chapness of my lips.These guys have a customer for life as this is the best working chapstick I have ever used.I came back to buy more to make sure I have some in all of my bags and to make sure I have a back up tube in case I lost the one that I have so I figured I would drop this review.

I originally bought this Emu Bliss Lip Balm for my lips but I loved it so much I bought another one for dry patches of skin & as a moisturizer for my dry cuticles. I love that it is all natural & has no distinct off-putting taste or smell. It creates a very moisturizing barrier on both my lips & skin. It does not create a waxy or oily feel on my lips. And the size is larger than your average tube chapstick or other lip balm. I wrote the company about how great I thought their products were & the owner wrote me right back (on a weekend no less) thanking me for my purchase, told me to not hesitate to contact her if I'm ever dissatisfied with any of their products & suggested additional products for me to try. Great customer service!

This is the first emu oil product I've purchased and it does what the description says. My lips are dry and chapped every winter and this balm gave me relief. It worked immediately and I've been using it on the occasional dry patch on my hands too. This product doesn't have the best smell but it also doesn't have added fragrance either, which I prefer.

Best lip balm i have used, I am into lip balm is that smell nice but this one is unscented and I actually prefer this and I like it better than the scented ones. It doesn't overwhelm or overpower my senses and moisturize my lips deeply and feels natural I love the ingredients.

I absolutely love this product, it's my second time buying it and I don't regret trying it out. It's the only thing that I feel truly keeps my lips moisturized. It lasts forever, It almost last me a year and usually I would have finished 3 regular lip balms by that time! I really recommend this product to anyone that wants to use real ingredients and get soft lips

Goes on nicely, but feels a little bit gritty. Love that it's all natural though. Bigger size is great. Makes my lips feel dryish after a while. Will keep using though as it protects when outside in cold and wind.
