Seems like a good solid product. I couldn't use it on the bolt that I had. It was just too rounded off, but it would've worked generally something that was stick

Worked great! I had an unfortunate situation after a rusty bolt seized up in my bike rack in the receiver of my car. Because it was so stuck, I inadvertently snapped the bolt head off. I used one of the socket bolt extractors from this kit on the opposite side. Took me about 20 minutes and boom! The bolt started moving. No more stuck bike rack. I just wish I had this kit earlier so I didn't waste all that time in previous days trying wrenches on the pin. I would highly recommend any frequently diy or hand person get this set for the occasional situations where using conventional tools doesn't work. Didn't have my phone handy during the process, but I've included pics of the snapped bolt head and the aftermath of the bolt itself when I used the kit on the opposite end.

I used this to remove a torx bolt in a bicycle brake rotor where the head was completely stripped. I over-torqued the bolt when installing it, which caused the problem with removal. The bolts are small and there isn't a lot of surface for anything to grip, so I used the drill bits to drill a hole into the bold shaft, then used the counterthreaded bit to remove it. For drilling in, I it is important to maintain pressure on the drill and not go too fast so it doesn't slip out of the center of the bolt. For removal, I tapped the bolt in until it "bit" into the sides of the bolt, then used a locking pliers to turn it by hand. After a few turns, the bolt loosened up and came out easily. Stripped bolts and screws are very frustrating, and this extractor set allowed me to remove the bolt without damaging any of the surrounding material. Be patient and follow the process and this set should work on most situations.

So far bits are holding up pretty good and I have had lots of luck extracting broken screws. Awesome product!!

This kit is the real deal. I was skeptical buying this for the heavy duty job of removing stuck, rusted, siezed bolts and studs. I was afraid they would break easily when using a heavy duty impact wrench, but these did the trick and removed some rusted wheel bolts that could not be removed any other way. I don't know that I would recommend this for a shop mechanic, but for a driveway mechanic, I'm impressed.

The drill bits are garbage. Started drilling into a broken bolt and once the drill hit high speed the bit shattered. Not sure I want to try anything else from in the kit.

Set came with 3 - 12mm bits instead of 10,11, and 12mm bit. Of course the one I need now is a 10mm but i didn't realize till after the return window closed. Seems like theres very little quality control on these.
