Neelamari Natural Indigo With Henna Powder (100 g + 100 g)…

Background:I bought this for my mum who has predominantly black/very dark brown hair but with many white strands. She has never chemically dyed her hair black although since the last few years she has been using store bought Henna which only made the ever increasing grey & white hairs red.Results of this pack:Absolutely brilliant! That is not to say hair has gone back to original colour but the greys have turned black and the whites are a dark shade of reddish brown, one can say auburn. In terms of overall look, just a word- fabulous! The hair does not seem limp, nor does it give a shiny dye-ish look. It looks very natural. Hair did not feel dry either but my mum always adds a teaspoon of coconut oil in Henna so it may be because of that.Duration:The only area which remains to be assessed is how lasting it is. Will update once I have some clarity on it. So far it has been a week with 1 wash in between and the colouring is going strong.Method:My mother followed the instructions given on the leaflet to the last word and made no deviations. The leaflet explains how to go about it if you want black colour, dark brown colour or brown colour. My suggestion would be to follow it blindly (apart from adding a spoon of Coconut oil to the Henna perhaps). They have obviously done research to know how to get the desired effect and it pays to stick to it.In a nutshell, you put Henna the first day and then you make a separate pack of Indigo and put it the next day if you want Black colour.Convenience quotient:Sigh. This is the only part that's a bore. My mother usually usually puts henna once every 2 months and she finds even that a bit much! Now imagine putting henna one day and then Indigo next day, that's two days of hair masks (keeping each for 2-3hrs)! That's a lot of work and a lot of patience!Final verdict:If you're using chemical dyes, please stop now! It's just not worth it considering how chemical dyes have been associated with a wide variety of serious health issues. This Henna+Indigo pack might seem like a lot of work initially, but knowing there are absolutely NO chemicals involved has to be reassuring.

Terrible product. Followed instructions as mentioned on the leaflet in the package. I wanted my Grey's to be dark brown.But my hair has not caught the color at all. It's still grey even after keeping the henna indigo mixture for nearly an hour and a half and using a shower cap to cover my head as instructed . My hair feels like its full of residue and grimy to touch. I can't run my fingers through my hair without my fingers turning black and that is the only thing that is becoming black.The Grey hair has not even become brown and is still the same. I feel so CHEATED.Picture attached for reference of the black residue on my finger's.Please don't get fooled by this product like I did. I wish I could get my money back.Absolutely fake product in my opinion.

I had ordered this product through my husband's amazon account.This is just amazing. I had hardly any idea that a natural product can actually give this result. I have started greying a year ago and was reluctant to use chemical colours/dye. However, I had used henna for a few times. It is indeed good for hair but leaves the copper to the grey and reddish hue in the sun in my otherwise black hair. But henna with indigo does miracle.This pack has two separate packets of henna and indigo powder. Use the instructions written in the leaflet inside the pack. What I did: Henna for 2.5 hours, after washing it, indigo for another 2.5 hours. After cleansing and drying, left it overnight with a lot of oil. It leaves residue, so don't forget to cover your head while sleeping on the pillow. Next morning, I washed it with a mild shampoo and got natural black hair back.Even after 3-4 washes on every alternate days, no copper, no greys. Still looking for how long this lasts. But right now, I am amazed. It is natural, safe and chemical-free.

It comes with a seperate henna and indigo covers inside neelamari's single press zip cover. Both are marked and came wid a manual specifically for its usage. Gud dat it provides a transparant shower cap as well. Shud hv been better if gloves is also included. For very black hair it needs 2 days 1 1/2 hrs. So i decided to stick on to medium brown. Its soo nyc dat the pastes are super soft and spill proof if we do the process soo accurate. Actually, it not only turn the grey to brown; it turned the whole hair to 1 shade. It dsnt keep the hair soo frizzy as well. Its absolutely a naturally perfect choice for any1.

I am writing this review after using this product 4th time in last 29 days1) My skin is very allergic to 30-40rs wala hair dye. This product is comfortable for my skin. No allergic reaction after using this.2) I need to use this paste after every 6-7 days. Hairs remain black till 3rd-4th day after that hair color turns to reddish brown.3). Almost 90% of white hairs turn black but not all.I am writing this part after using it for 07 months.1) Today I used it and just after 3-4hours i am witnessing allergic reaction on my skin.I am scratching the skin from afternoon.2) I need to stop using this product.

Below average product but pricetoo high. The mehndi un pack is so like sand, even after water wash u feel so sticky hair that u cant wait for next day to shampoo ur hair. Indigo didnt showed any difference in shade of mehndi. Infact in retail stores there is much better shade local mehndi is available which does not contain indigo. So neither the purpose of buying indigo served nor the quality of mehndi was good. Even color started getting away with first wash only. Total waste of money and time

This combo not only helps to cover my gray hair, it helped to nourish and moisture my hair. And the best part the indigo powder is really helpful to cover those embarrassing orange colour hair after applying Heena. So totally value for money. And it does it’s work what it claims.
