120 volt AC to 12 volt DC converter works very well as advertised.
The instructions say to mount it on a metal plate as a heat sink. My use was to power the 12 volt DC circuit on my replacement water heater for my park model recreational vehicle. The RV does not have a 12 volt DC power source. The old water heater had a 110 volt AC heating element and a propane backup with pilot light. The new one also has a 110 volt heating element, but has a 12 volt DC electronic control module plus an 12 volt DC ignition spark to light the propane burner. Long story short, I use this converter for the 12 volt DD power supply and it works perfectly. It also never gets warm to touch. Great product.

Short life
This is the second power supply I’ve bought for a bathroom vanity. Lasted a whopping two months at best. Just going to put an Allen Bradley supply from work in now. Get what you pay for in the end.
