We make a lot of seared ahi tuna so we go through sesame seeds pretty fast in our house. I have found that buying these seeds in bulk off amazon is much more economical than purchasing the small ‘spice sized’ containers from my local grocery store (you get so much more and definitely ‘more bang for your buck’!). I took a photo comparing the unhulled seeds from amazon to the seeds I buy at the store and as you can see, the only real difference is the off-white color of the Terrasoul/amazon seeds. The taste is similar and so is the size. In full honesty, I had NO IDEA what ‘hulled’ versus ‘unhulled’ meant so I ordered simply based on what most closely resembled what I had already been using. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and feel confident that I made the right decision. From here on out, I think I will always buy these in bulk off amazon rather than buying them in store, because it really does save money!

this is a perfect bag of sesame seeds. I bake a lot and these are perfect for toppoing of sweetbread, or even a loaf. They taste great, and roast to perfection. love it

I was looking for unhulled sesame seeds with a high calcium content, and these perfectly met my needs. They are fresh, excellent quality, and have a delicious flavor that can be used in a variety of recipes, from salads to breads and smoothies. I am very satisfied and recommend them for anyone looking for a healthy and nutritious food

These are great, seem fresh, raw, as stated, the hulls are thinner than others I have purchased - no judgment, just an observation - I expect they will be easier to grind than the thicker hulled ones for tahini. They have the hulls so the slight bitter taste as expected (love that little bite 😁). I generally use sesame seeds for making tahini when we are on a hummus jag, and the rest of the time as a garnish - tossing in salads, on breads, so 2 lbs is a bit much for the latter, wish the came in 1 lb bags, I could always buy 2 when craving hummus. I do get tired of pitching half used bags that have gone stale.

High quality. It's hard to find organic unhulled. Ive bought several bags and find them consistent.

What's not to like. I grind them, otherwise no nutritional benefit. Some people toast them, I am not convinced that helps the nutritional value, only he taste, and I do not buy these for taste.

I’m sorry to say the organic unhulled sesame seeds have something gritty in them. They would not be good for my teeth and I don’t think they’re good for anyone’s teeth. Maybe you’ll have luck than me, but I got some crummy sesame seeds from this brand. I wasted a bunch of money.
