Intermec ScanPlus 1800

The scanner works great when you figure out how to set it up.The manual is useless. The setup software can be somewhat helpful if you know a lot about hand scanners.When it works it is great.

The barcode scanner works great! I do not agree with the previous reviewer's statement that its hard to program. I had the scanner up and running in less than 3 minuites without the need for an application. It really comes down to experience, I've programmed many different barcode scanners so it was very easy for me. however, those without this experience may find it difficult. Be sure you program the right barcode type and follow the directions. If you cant find a manual download one online.

The picture on the web when I placed my order CLEARLY showed it with the necessary cable, and did not specify that the cable was not included.This was a BIG waste of money. I paid for expedited shipment so I could start using it ASAP.

Box was open and arrived with no cable leaving me in a bind. Now I have to find one. I won't order again.
