It is very stiff and doesn’t sink at all when sitting on it, which is exactly what I need to aid in standing from a sitting position. If it was a couple inches less wide it would be perfect but the 5 inches was just too high so had to return it.

Quality of the cushion is great. I use it in my recliner to help make the seat taller so I can get up and out of my chair better.

I thought this would help provide me with a higher cushion as I have difficulty getting up from a seated position. This is hard as a rock with no comfort and no give at all. The first product through Amazon I have ever been disappointed in.I would give it no stars if I could !

When I got it, it was too stiff and felt like I was sitting on a rock. After a while of sitting it was very comfortable and supportive.SELLER CHARGES YOU FOR RETURN!

After buying a couple of "booster" pads, I finally found one that "boosts"! This pad is super high with just enough give that it supports without giving up too much of the height. This is as close to lifting you up next to using a cinder block, lol.

I ordered this bc i have severe gout in my knees and it's torture to get off the couch. Wanted something to boost me up a bit higher. This does fill that bill, but holy cow this thing is so dense it makes my behind numb to sit on it for any length of time. I finally found another cushion to put on top of it that doesn't have me sliding off. I'm a big woman and this would be much more comfy if 1. It were just a few inches larger and 2. if there were a softer cushion on top. If you do make such a thing, please advise me, I'll buy it. What I DO like about this (which almost sounds like I'm contradicting myself) is how firm it is which helps in getting up. But miserable to sit on for long. However, it is working ok with the extra chair pad on top. I also like the removable and washable cover. everything is well made.

This has saved my neck at work. I’m finally high enough to be at the right level to see the monitor without strain on my neck.

It's a decent pad but it's cut small and if you do not have it perfectly seated in a chair of equivalent size it becomes very unstable to sit on and you will wobble. The corners also become crushed in shape rather quickly so it's fine for short term item but I don't recommend it for somebody that needs it regularly. The zebra print cover is more like a square of flannel sheet with a little bit of netting and a fitted back so the bottom is in exposed foam it will be difficult to clean because it's definitely not water resistant.
