Not a lot to say about a battery, but this came as advertised. Installed perfectly in the laptop the advertiser said it would work in and the battery has been working perfectly since (about 3 weeks).

I have an HP Spectre x360 and the battery was shot. It wouldn't even last through a 3 hours seminar class. It also often did not let me know it was low on energy and would randomly shut off anywhere between 5% and 35% power and even at 35% power, it wouldn't even attempt to turn back on unless it was plugged in. At one point I thought maybe the battery was overheating since I was running some moderately complex stats. I I also bought an external fan, which did help some, but the fan was a huge drain on the battery. I also tried recalibrating the batter, thinking that the power rating wasn't accurate, but no luck. I eventually bought this replacement battery and it was easy enough to install and works for it's intended purpose. One thing I noticed right away is that the battery life is about half of the original OEM battery when brand new. This isn't so much an issue, but I've also noticed that the battery takes an extremely long time to charge with the original 45W charger that came with the computer. In all, it's decent for the money and I'll be happy if I can get a year out of it.

I asked beforehand if the battery is compatible with the spectre x360 specific model i own. The buyer said yes. The package came on time and was compatible with my computer. I'm super happy with its performance up to now. Good job :)

Don't know whether to blame the battery or the laptop, but only charges when the laptop if off.

I followed all instructions and replaced the battery. The first time the battery was recognized but it showed only 38% though the LED indicator on my laptop showed that the battery is full. I disconnected the battery and followed the instructions to remove the residual charge. After reconnecting my laptop would not recognize the battery. I again disconnected and reconnected and again it showed 38%. I let it again charge overnight and then it showed 255%. However every time the battery is recognized, I also get an error while booting that the battery has low power. I removed the power supply to let the laptop run on battery. But the battery icon shows "unknown power". After 2.5 hours the laptop simply shutdown. Now I get a message that no battery was detected.I am returning this product right away. Cannot waste time on figuring out how to get it to work as I suspect this is a bad quality product.

These batteries are tricky to get out and replace. The best thing you can do is to watch a YouTube video showing you how to do it. The problem came in when the laptop refused to acknowledge the new battery, and shut off every time it wasn’t plugged in. It also prompted an error screen every time the computer was booted, you’d click past it and then were stuck with always having to be connected by the power cord. It does not work like it should. Sadly, the OEM version has been discontinued. We ended up buying a new computer.
