VERY GOOD QUALITY AND EASY TO INSTALL

I purchased one a few years back and it has always been a problem as the press does not line up well if you put in very much garlic. I had searched for the be just like this and when I saw it, I order it. I was so pleased I bought a second as a backup. It is sturdy and presses the garlic well. Plus, it is easy to clean too. Highly recommended!

I'm glad I got this garlic press.I got sick and tired of sitting there with a knife, chop and garlic.All the time plus this is a lot more healthy for your heart.Everybody should get one

Purchased because I'm a Kitchenaid "brand snob".. it's built strong. Very sturdy. As far as performance, it leaves quite a bit of garlic in the "chamber", but that could be that I was using older garlic. Wish it had a scraper attached Like some of the other garlic presses I researched before making this purchase. I do like that the "cup" comes out so it's very easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand. At the end of the day, I purchased because I trust this brand and the color matches my other appliances. I took 1 star off purely because it was semi difficult to get all the garlic out.

Works fine. Not too hard to clean. Doesn’t take up much room in drawer.

Update 7/30/25: I discovered that this has the removable baskit. Guess it was stuck in there and I didn't know it. Good press! Buy it! I had the older Kitchenaide garlic press with the removable basket. Much easier to clean. Alas, that little basket went missing. Thought this would have same design. My fault for not looking more closely at the description. It still functions just fine. Just takes a little more effort to clean. Still, a good value.

I’ve had a KitchenAid garlic press for years, but finally a very firm clove did it in and it broke. I bought this as its replacement and I noticed it wasn’t as robust as my prior old one. While this definitely presses garlic, you end up losing about 25% of your clove from the garlic squishing up the sides. Frustrating! I should’ve taken heed of others reviews saying the same thing and selected a different press.

Crushes garlic. Feels solid. Hope it lasts longer than the Chinese garlic press I bought last year.
