What is the difference in size and weight between this clear oversize large bag and the clear extra large version?

Other than one is large size and the other is extra large. The one I have measures as 70x43x34. I was able to place 2 X storage cubes 30x30 cubes, quite comfortably side by side inside the bags. Was great help when I was moving, They are good quality, multiple uses, well worth the purchase.

Are these waterproof?

Yes they are waterproof. Keep Christmas decorations in both bags and stored in garage. Garage was flooded and decorations still dry.

I would say yes they are moth proof. Fully sealed when zipped up, you could always add a couple of moth balls into the bags if you are worried. I have stored put clothes into fabric cube storage and placed those into the bags, two fit beside each other nicely, my items have been in storage for about 10 months and no signs of any moths or moth damage.
