How difficult is this to use to clamp on the fitting? I am age female with OK hand strength, just wondering if this requires big strong hands, thanks.

My experience was that it did require some "elbow grease" to fully clamp down. The handles are a bit short, so you don't get a lot of leverage. It requires both hands to operate, similar to bolt cutters, so it's not really about hand strength. I found myself wishing for a third hand to hold the clamp steady while I crimped it, because it was difficult to keep the clamp from slipping up and down while I was trying to apply left-right pressure to close it.

Where do you get the instructions on how to adjust and use the tool?

Cut the PEX pipe square, it is important. Push in fitting completely to shoulder. Crimp ring would already be installed loosely. Engage jaws of crimper on ring bump parallel to the fitting. Squeeze crimper until it releases WHILE KEEPING THE RING 1/8 INCH FROM THE CUT END OF THE PIPE. The idea is to get the crimp ring to engage two not one of the sealing rings in the fitting. Don't worry, most of them are not exactly perfect but make an attempt to get it positioned correctly.

I do not have this crimper but am considering it. The only downside to 
it is also one of it's features, the cutter. To make it a cutter, they opened the closed sides of the jaw covering, dropped them down from flush. Other crimpers have a small 4 sided opening in which to insert the ring bump. The advantage is that it precisely positions the ring in the crimper side to side and may hold it better when you are trying to maneuver it around to squeeze in cramped locations and position it 1/8 inch from the cut end of the pipe. Few of your crimps will be in the wide open.  Not sure I want to give that up actually.

If you go with a crimp only model, I remove misaligned rings using a decent sized end cutter. I bought a Lowe's crimp cutter but it is too bulky actually, I prefer the end cutter twisting them off. You will probably have to recut a fresh end but you will probably have to do that anyway.
