I bought this book to read with my son, who is almost 4 years old and starting a new preschool. He liked the story and we used it to talk about what to expect. I like that the story deals with the characters' apprehensions about starting school, and that parents love and miss them when they are gone. I bought the Kindle version, so my son also enjoys turning the pages as we read it on my device. I would recommend this book to anyone with a preschooler or kindergartener starting a new school for the first time.

This book was purchased for my grandson. His name is Franklin :) My daughter is going to read them to him for bedtime.

This book was just what I expected. It is very well illustrated and colorful. It is a good size as well. Not too big not to little. My children always enjoyed the Franklin books and now my grandchild will be able to also.

Franklin is a beloved character from my 3 year old daughter's library which she inherited from an older friend who enjoyed these stories for many years! Delightful, touching, intelligent stories and lessons without being too silly or pat, each adventure and chapter in Franklin's journey is always a pleasure to read again and again at bedtime or on long car trips.

My son started a new preschool and we got him this book to prepare. It was a great tool to talk about the feelings around start this new situation.
