Star Wars Extendable Luke Skywalker Lightsaber

I used this as a prop in a Star Wars movie that we made at a Star Wars themed birthday party. Worked great. Only drawback would be that the handle is very much 'adult/authentic' sized while the saber part is a little short. Wasn't really a big deal for us though. It was durable enough to hold us during our 'fight scene'.

There is a star war battle going on in my planet and my Jedi master Luke Skywalker needed this light saber badly so he can fight with Darth Vader to safe our galaxy. Force was with him in this battle and this light saber survived the abuse in battle. When I ordered, I knew it t doesn't light up or sound but my Jedi master did not care. It comes out when you swing in the air. It does have some issue in retracting all the way back. I found this issue with the blue and red light saber also which I ordered along with this green light saber to complete the set.

I bought this (and a few other colors) for young relatives to share my love of Star Wars. While they don't light up, make noise, and are semi-short... they were exactly what I was looking for. Something cheap (great price point) that you're not upset about if it breaks, and yet you can still have fun lightsaber battles. I will keep buying other models as gifts as the new movies come out!

My little brother plays with it every single day and loves it! He's 6 and unfortunately drops it all the time yet it still hasn't broken which is fantastic. Just a warning, it doesn't light up but it does extend and un-extend so thats really helpful.

I was hoping this would be like the toy swords that came out circa Episode 1/2 back in the 2000s. This is a cheaper, definitely plastic-ier sword that I could have gotten a better deal on at Walmart. I got this because it was one of the few from the reviews that people were able to make decent belt hooks for, but kinda lost interest upon receiving it. If you're going to wear this on a belt for a Halloween costume, it looks fine as long as the blade isn't out and you keep it off to the side as a nice accompaniment, it's far from a focal piece though.

DOESN’T LIGHT UP! If there’s one things you’d expect a lightsaber to do, it’s light up. Nowhere in the description does it say this lightsaber doesn’t light up. In fact, it says it requires 2 batteries implying it should light up. INSANE price for something that doesn’t even function as it should. I got this for my son for his Halloween outfit and the first thing he asked was how does he turn it on, and I had to disappoint him with the fact that this is the only lightsaber I’ve ever seen that doesn’t light up. This should be extremely clear in the product title and description and is very misleading.

I got this for my 7-year-old cousin and he loved it! After he opened it, he immediately began swinging it at imaginary Sith lords. Although, for his parents' sake, I hope he doesn't break anything in the house.

I believe that this is a good item for costumes or a movie prop. It holds up very well in combat but if you are looking for something more advanced with lights and sounds, this is not for you. Overall, it is a nice item and a valuable addition to my collection.
