Best piece of exercise equipment you can bring to the gym
Best chest workout ever! You get an incredible pumped feeling MUCH quicker using the earthquake bar. You use every stabilizer muscle to try and control the shaking (and you will shake). After 10 minutes of use I felt better than a whole hour of my regular chest workout.

Great Addition to Your Chest Workout!
After watching a review by Mark Bell, at Super Training Gym, and how his team incorporates the E-Maxx bar in their routine I thought I'd give it a try adding an element of training for my chest. I, personally, train chest three days a week. One day is heavy, one day is geared more toward hypertrophy and one day is dedicated to working out the chest and supporting muscles...that day is when I introduced the E-Maxx Bar, wow, what an addition to my work out! Even using much lighter weight than I normally would the instability of the bar forces you to use recruitment muscles like never before. I highly recommend adding this piece of equipment to your chest arsonal!

The bar is incredible
this earth quake bar is unbelievable I love it, any body that is serious about getting stronger, if you are serious about improving your one rep max on all your main lifts such as bench press, military press and squat, you have to get one. What a work out try to get in 30 to 40 reps on each set, your chest and triceps will be burning up it is a great feeling. Bottom line BUY A EARTH QUAKE BAR you will be happy. Tim

Humbling, but some quality control issues
I purchased this bar a few years ago based off some reviews that I read. I had a slight nagging shoulder injury and the supposed benefits of this bar in terms of rehab and working on the stabilizer muscles made it seem like it was something that I should add to my home gym. After a few years of owning it, I'm not so sure I should have purchased it. For one, it's a pain to use. While there are some attachments that you can purchase to make it easier, I do not own them. I currently use kettlebells and attach them with bands. Since the bar is so light, one end comes up when you load the other side. You need to hold the bar down so the bar doesn't dump the weight (or in my case, kettlebells) to the floor while you go to add weight to the other side. This isn't a problem if you have a 2nd person loading the other side but it could cause a problem if you are by yourself and attaching a decent amount of weight to the bar. In addition, and I believe another reviewer mentioned this as well, but the quality control is lacking. The markings are not in the same place on each side. Mine are off by about a half an inch. At a price of around $300, I expected better. In terms of using the bar, it is certainly humbling. If you aren't careful, it may hit you in the face on the bench. Start off with very light weight - and I stress that importance. You may injure yourself otherwise. Other than bench, I thought it worked well for the overhead press. I'd probably skip using it for most other exercises. Ultimately, I haven't received as much benefit in terms of fixing my shoulder issues as I thought I would using this bar. That being said, I do think it has helped somewhat and I will continue to keep using it. I just think I could have received similar benefits doing other rehab work that didn't include spending this type of money on a bar.

This is cool!
Cool piece of equipment, even though I really don't know what I'm doing with it. I had to buy some kettle bells to use it properly...I think?
