This 7 book series is a must read, it's wonderfully entertaining.

I'm (was) a newby to Archer. Picked up a stand-alone novel of his at the library, was delighted by the quality, ready to read more. Our library has some; otherwise I buy from amazon.Read, next, Be Careful What.,, And learned you really need to be careful what you read. Because there's no ending to this book in the Clifton family series. You're left hanging so that Archer and Panmacmillan can pick up a few extra $million. No doubt there are plenty of suckers out there willing to go on to the promised 2015 sequel, but I won't be among them.And to express how angry I am at this sleazy trick, I'm giving away the non-ending: the boat gets built, the whole family's on it + a full passenger list, the IRA bomb does go off despite British agents being on board. We don't get to find out how much damage and who's hurt. Don Pedro Martinez is picked up by an IRA cab driver so he can't flee to So America.

If the book had had a legitimate ending, I would have given it4 stars. When books in a series are really goo, you read the next because you WANT to, not because you’re forced to. Cheap trick!

I was reading the 7 volume Clifton Chronicles by Jeffrey Archer and it was one volum I needed. Brilliant books, cleverly written by a master story teller.
