The official cooling treatment in the NHS
I didn't buy this product. My mother used while she was on the ward in hospital after her total knee replacement surgery. They used this product. Works brilliant and due to patient hygiene policies they either would throw it out once my mum got discharged or the option they shove to do to give to my mum free of charge filled with water so we could use it at home buy keeping in the fridge. I only can recommend as this product helps her immensely not just with swelling but with pain too. I hope Amazon will let me post this even though I didn't buy it.

This can be helpful. . . . .
The only reason I couldn't use mine, is that my husband who will be taking care of after TKR, he has his own issues, and the Orthopedic doctor suggested this particular kind would be more work for him. Sadly, not that I think for one minute you are charging too much for the better kinds, but we just can't afford it, along with costly meds we take. But if my hub didn't have difficulties as well, it just might have been fine, I would say worth trying if there are no physcail incapabilities of your caretaker that would cause difficulty as I first stated. For any of us having surgery, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US, . .. .I need it, but Im a wreck. Gotta get over that pretty quick!!!

Works great, overpriced
Very easy to set up for someone who just had knee replacement surgery. It keeps the ice in tact for 24 hours. I am shocked at how expensive this is considering my husband could have probably made this with a beach cooler, pipe purchased at harbor freight and any type of fabric cooler bag. I could make this for $20.

Honestly, itโs like an Ice pack but better I recommend it a lot. Super helpful and feels really nice and cool.

If having a knee surgery this is the go to
This really helped after my second knee surgery. I wish I had this the 1st time around. It really helped out not only after surgery but after those PT days too.

Woks great for icing sore joint - however
A friend loaned us one of these and we liked it so well we bought one for use after surgery. We like the simplicity of the water pump and the intermittent gentle squeeze on the area being cooled. However, as the velcro bands are separated from the velcro tab, in order to take the cuff off the knee, the velcro tab on the body of the knee cuff pulls partially off. So far we have been able to press the loose part of the tab back in place. We wonder when it will come completely off and not restick.
