I enjoy painting watercolor landscapes. This book has many projects to try but not many that I personally wanted to paint. I enjoyed the lesson on painting leaves. I am happy with the results of The four projects I chose to paint. I learned a lot about blending colors. All in all, it was worth the purchase price.

Really enjoying making my way through this book. There’s only 3-4 steps per painting and I found it’s easier to just look at the picture instead of reading them. I like that no specific colors are required-I use whatever I have, mix when I can or just substitute for whatever makes me happy.

So I have been obsessively into watercoloring lately. And a lot of my ideas have been on Pinterest.There were two books kinda similar that I wish there was a review of. So here’s my review. The quality of this book feels like a thick coloring book- not as professional. I am a book lover and I love books to treasure and this book feels like it won’t last long! I also bought a different but similar water coloring book it was filled with professional glossy beautiful pages. So to compare 15 min water color projects and this one. I prefer 15 min. But keep reading till the end for my final vote!!!I liked 15 min Because - there was a wide range of choices, there was more organization, variations, and choices.Cons- I wish there was always more!This bookPros- beautiful choices, great imagination, great use of colors, tracing options for pictures.Cons- feels like a kinda fragile book ( a thick coloring book) that’s the feel I got when I pulled it out. Disorganized, and not enough.All in all- I think both are great! If you want just one book then this would be a good book but not as many options. This book looks like was a labor of love and is lots of fun! The 15 min one has more options but buy the two! I am happy with both, bc honestly there is minimal overlapping art work!! And it gives you that much more to enjoy.

I have always wanted to find a hobby that I could take up to get me away from my computer screen. But the learning curve for everything I looked at felt so intimidating! When would I get to the part where I could enjoy without feeling like a failure along the way?! I can’t draw really, and it always felt like painting was a skill that would need to be built on that!This tutorial book really helped to mitigate those fears for me. From teaching the basics of how to mix and ‘feel’ colors in this medium, to providing tracings for the artistically challenged to follow, and step by step instructions and tool tip suggestions, this product meets the mark and delivers on its title promise. Easy. I have found a new escape and relaxation hobby because of this book. It’s a gem for beginners and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Five stars!

WOW! What a joy this book is! I could not wait for it to arrive. Beautiful, Colourful, and so full of joyful tutorials. I love it.I had acquired "the Top Seller" book on Watercolors by Amazon, but what a mistake. It was such a BOOOOOORIING Book!! I returned it since it was partly damaged in transit, and bought this one instead, what a great decision that was.I am a beginner in Watercolor, and the practice examples are staight forward and simple, not too much blah blah blah, that makes you lose interest.This book makes the basics simple and uncomplicated...just how i prefer.The Tutorials are soo adorable, colourful, and you can frame them and decorate your home, or room.I love things that are happy, colourful and inspiring...and all that I found in this book. Thank you to the Author for sharing her knowledge with all of us. You have turned me into a fan. :)Pics to be posted in a later update to this review.

Cute book but lessons could be a little more detailed. The author gives brief instructions on how to paint a leaf or flowers petals in the beginning but when the tutorials start for each individual painting there are only four very brief steps to each painting. I’m a beginner and there are a few that I won’t attempt until I’m a little more advanced. Also each painting has an outline that the author suggests you sketch before you paint and some are very advanced sketches.

Den Anleitungen für diese einfachen Illustrationen kann man wirklich mühelos folgen. Zur Entspannung und zur Eingewöhnung an die Arbeit mit Pinsel und Aquarellfarbe durchaus geeignet. Die Anleitung steht bei aufgeklapptem Buch auf der rechten Seite, die Arbeitsfläche für die eigenen Illustrationen ist auf der linken Seite. Für Rechtshänder wäre eine umgekehrte Anordnung besser. Das Papier verträgt nicht viel Wasser, nach wenigen Pinselstrichen an einer Stelle löst sich die oberste Schicht bereits. Nach dem Trocknen sind die Seiten etwas wellig. Insgesamt in Ordnung und erfüllt den Zweck.
