This Stuff Works!
I have a .22 caliber suppressor that has to be cleaned every few hundred rounds or it becomes impossible to break down because of carbon buildup, and cleaning the carbon off the internal components was a major chore until I got this product. Now, I just soak the components in the liquid overnight and a regular toothbrush easily removes the carbon residue the next day. I filter the fluid through a piece of bed sheet to collect the residue and the resulting fluid is reusable. Although it states not to use the product on external components because it would damage the finish, I find that it has no effect on black anodized aluminum, since I was forced to soak the butt end of the suppressor tube in order to loosen the carbon buildup in the inside rear of the tube. This stuff works and actually has a pleasant smell, unlike other solvents...get yourself some.

Great for suppressor baffles
.22 caliber suppressors (silencers) are well known for carbon and lead fouling. Suspending the suppressor baffles in a fifteen minute soak in Carbon Killer makes cleaning a breeze. (A messy breeze, so nitrile gloves are recommended to keep the lead off your skin). Moreover, once the baffles completely dry, any carbon or lead residue turns to powder and allows even more complete cleaning. I haven't found a more effective cleaner yet. Since baffles are non-ferrous and don't require lube, it's only necessary to wipe dry, clean orifices with cotton swab, and air dry completely.

Great Cleaner, and more...
I am a firearms instructor. I recommend this to all my students for two reasons. 1) Its a great cleaner. I takes 700x residue off like its not there as well as other hard to clean soot. 2) The citrus odor is a great alternative to other organic ordors but there is another advantage. Your defensive firearm should always be clean so that if you ever proximate to the shooting, but do not shoot, you can prove you did not shoot by the citrus odor of your gun. #9 and others generally leave after a couple days but Copper Killer sticks around for a while. Great stuff ...

Great Stuff!
I've been using this product for many years and appreciate it's effectiveness. I battled carbon build-up on AR bolts and bolt carriers before learning about this product. I gave Carbon Killer a try and quickly found out how well it resolves carbon issues. Regular use keeps the bolt and bolt carrier group cleaner, eliminating many of the time-consuming carbon-cutting chores I used to do. Easy and safe to use--no ammonia--Carbon Killer is a must-have for AR shooters.

just buy it. thank me later. you're welcome.
buy it. you'll experience three emotions: 1st - amazement when you see how much effort you are now relieved of. 2nd - joy as you realize how much easier this job just got. and 3rd - anger when you realize that you should've bought this long ago.whoever says this stuff doesn't work is not using slip 2000 carbon killer, not doing it correctly, and/or under the influence of an illicit substance.

Don't believe hype, works ok but don't expect miracles.
I got this product because I have 2 stainless steel smith revolvers (66-2,27) and they have burn rings on the cylinder as well as on the flutes. The gun shop told me to remove the rings use hoppes and steel wool, which I'm positive would have worked but I personally don't want to use an abrasive on my revolver unless absolutely necessary. The revolvers are late 70's 80's era and were stored when I was born by my father. They were stored with the powder and carbon burns left on them. This stuff is the residue after you clean it with all sorts of "gun cleaners" and does not come off easy. I saw on youtube that they just dunked the cylinder and it cleaned it up like nothing. Yeah... that didn't happen I tried it for 15 minutes and then over night. It did remove slight amount of carbon but nothing like you would hope for. I think if you have fresh carbon this would do much better or if this was a freshly shot gun I think it would remove that carbon no problem. I'm giving it 3 stars cause while it didn't do what I want it to , it did remove some carbon and had a pleasant scent and it was easy on the hands. For those of you who actually want to remove the burn rings on a stainless use flintz, it's non abrasive and worked fine just get a towel and rub it off , it will take some elbow grease but it will come off and wont scratch anything.

Good product
Great non-toxic cleaner. I would say that it does not work as well as described, but it does a good job for a product that does not create a hazmat bi-product like "the dip." I will be using this 95% of time and only going back to "the dip" once in a while for a perfect clean. It does work better than I was expecting it to. i use this to clean suppressor baffles.

Great for smaller parts, bolts and cleaning cosmoline from a barrel.
I got this because I liked the 725 gun cleaner but I only had the crappy spray bottle that leaked during use. This is just as strong on carbon and to a lesser extent cosmoline.Since it comes in a jar it allows you to soak the parts.I put some brown bear ammo through my mosin which in addition to carbon leaves some laquer on the bolt and I neglected to clean it for months.I soaked the complete bolt in the jar and When I pulled it out and wiped it, it was pretty much clean.I further broke it down and simply wiped away the rest.
