Easy to install, fantastic product, great value
This dead pedal was very easy to install; took less than 10 minutes. It has made long trips in my Wrangler much better. The pedal is made of metal, all the welds look great, and the holes lined up perfectly with the bolts in the driver side footwell. It feels very durable even after using it for several weeks. One thing I recommend: when installing, place the grounding wires on top of the dead pedal, towards the brake pedal, or the ground wires may get pinched when you tighten the bolts back on. It would have been nice if this product come with some instructions… but those were missing. However it was easy enough to install without them. Highly recommend this to any Jeep Wrangler owner. One final note: Very important! This will NOT fit if you have a manual transmission, because it takes up the space of the clutch pedal.

Hooke Road Left Side Dead Pedal Footrest
I'm surprised at the quality of this foot rest for the price. It bolted right on with no problems. I'm 6'2" and with the seat back there is not a comfortable place to put my foot. If my foot is flat on the floor my knee hits the steering wheel. If my leg is extended my foot has nothing to rest on. This little item solved everything.

Good product with a good price
I bought this instead of the name brand version for the sake of saving $20, and figured if it's a POS I can always return it with Prime. I am very happy with what I received however. It is exactly as pictured, everything fit without modification on my 2015 Rubicon, the metalwork and welding was very good and powdercoating is pretty good (had one flaw, but not enough to expose the metal). The only slight problem I had is that the "neck", where the extension narrows down, is not quite narrow enough for one of the ground connectors to clear where it crimps onto the ground wire, but there is enough space behind the neck that it can bend back slightly and still work. Not enough of a deal to remove a star, as it was really a non issue in the end. At 6'1", with the dead pedal at its longest setting, the location of the pedal is comfortable for offroading and long distance trips. It's much better than resting my foot on the floor the whole time. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Exactly what I needed. Installation modified just a bit.
When I looked for this online, I didn't know if it even existed. I just bought my Wrangler and it didn't take long to realize I needed somewhere to rest my foot on longer trips. Perfect. The instruction videos all say to jut put the pedal on top of the ground wires and the door strap hook. I removed both of these so it would be more stable and to get more threads into the nuts. I had to drill out the holes at the ground straps about half way through the pedal, it took a little extra boring out in the forward hole because the hole spacing wasn't "perfect", the bolts go though the holes, but not quite centered. Once I got that done, the pedal is flat against the side wall and really sturdy. The ground strap bolts come right to the end of the nuts.
