DIY hydrojet
I honestly didn't know what to expect trying this on a commercial restaurant main to the grease trap. I would say these are easier to work if you start from the grease trap toward the facility. I was able to get it through a 2" P-trap for a floor sink! It also did fine on a 4" drain going from my grease trap. Making the first turn wasn't very difficult. We ran into blockages right away. And you kind of have to work your way through them, a good technique is to loop the hose and twist to help it move along. If you watch some videos on youtube, you will see that the heads tend to favor a side so it's not going to run down the middle of the pipe but along one side of the pipe. So you need to keep doing the twist technique. We spent a lot of time on this, and we kept seeing new stuff come out. First we only got through maybe 10 feet, but eventually got to over 30 feet. You just have to keep working the line. In the end it's a dirty job. Watching the videos on Youtube help you to understand what's going on in the line since you can't see it. I wish I would have tried the other nozzle that had a forward shooting tip but I only tried the spinning nozzle and I'd say it did a pretty good job. It made me realize that the plumber I had using a snake was hardly cleaning the pipes. The drain has not been hydrojetted in the 13 years of owning the restaurant so I'm sure we took out what seemed like buckets of chunks and sediment. The parts seem decent. I was very concerned at how much the hose was kinking when I was stretching it out. But when it's pressurized it's a different story. I used this on a Husqvarna electric pressure washer from Costco and it performed better than expected. I'm sure my gas pressure washer would have done a better job but we were doing all of this stuff late at night and the electric was nicely quiet. I'll say also at $50 for this kit, it's cheaper than hiring a plumber. I paid $650 for an idiot plumber that didn't know to start from the grease trap and he did absolutely NOTHING. You could buy a new waterjet kit each time you have to do maintenance and save a bundle.

Amazing this thing works.
This thing is amazing. I had a clog in my laundry room I have been fighting for a week. Sand with soap scum mixed in is the only thing I could describe this clog. I have cast iron pipes so I am always hesitant to use liquid drain cleaner. Run the straight end down first to clear out anything in front of it. It has a rounded head so it is easier to make it around clogged corners. Then clean the rest of the pipe with the rotary works like a champ.

Works perfectly
I had a clogged drain line for washing machines at work. I used a drain snake but it didn't work. I used thus with my pressure washer and it worked perfectly. The only 2 issues I found was that the hose kinked on me twice leaving a mark where in the future it would kink again and the other issue is leakage from the connection points. The leak seems to be easily fixable with better Teflon tape or tighter fittings.I recommend a hose reel for this so your not taking a long time to wind and unwind the entire hose.

Works Great!
Read the instructions, be patient, and it will clean out your drains/pipes like a champ!Specifically used mine to clean out a couple French Drains. It's a fun and satisfying tool to have in the arsenal. Connected it to my 3,400 PSI pressure washer and it had no problem cleaning the drains (again, be patient and shimmy the hose forward and back). Wear gloves and eye protection just be safe, there are videos on YouTube of people incorrectly using these and it's not a happy ending. It's highly pressured water shooting out tiny holes, it can be dangerous. Lastly, this did not cause any damage to the underground piping. I know because I ultimately had to dig mine up to fix the incorrect installation. Almost forgot, I ran this up my neighbor's tall downspout and totally cleared the blockage, this thing is great!

Prepare for poopy situations
Was having issues with drainage and I bought this to flush the drains. This allowed me to find out the electric company drilled through my pipes. Ran a camera and too pictures. Now I got new pipes. Product worked great and was easily converted to use with the pressure washer I had.

Better than the more expensive jetters
Unfortunately, I am able to do a review with a comparison to a model (JetSnake) that costs $100 more. It was a septic problem and a couple hours drive away, so I opted to buy the $140 tool instead of this one. After being unable to jet thru up to the septic tank, I cut a section of the clay drain pipe by the tank to install a clean-out and FORGOT to remove the SnakeJet. Cut its nose off.Since I had some more jetting to do, I opted for this less expensive Ridge product as a replacement. The JetSnake had a single fixed jetting tip; and I thought the Ridge's rotating end might be a help.As you can see from the photo, this black hose was significantly thicker than the yellow hose on the JetSnake. BUT, it was much more pliable and actually easier to "snake" thru the corrugated septic drain pipe. Plus the rotating nozzle did seem to work better.Bottom line, this one easily scoured all the sand out of the drain line and punched thru the final plug going into my septic tank.I would suggest that they consider changing the fittings that come with it. When you connect this to your pressure washer, you aren't going to connect it directly - you'd have no on-off control, so that fitting is superfluous. Also the fitting that fits the quick connect at the end of your pressure washer wand is a little inconvenient. Removing the wand and connecting the hose to the trigger handle is a lot better. Luckily, I'd paid $140 for a tool that did include that brass fitting - pictured.
