PowerConf Bluetooth Conference Speakerphone with 6 Microphones

My laptop microphone was not working very well, I needed a quick, easy portable device and chose this Anker product. It is great value, great connectivity to Bluetooth devices and has a very clear microphone and speaker. I am not disappointed with my purchase. Item comes with a free portable carry case.

Currently I am working from home, so I bought this device as I have to attend many conference calls. Using the bluetooth connection, the sound is fine, but the microphone disconnects in the middle of calls in many occasions, a big inconvenient if you are in a meeting (this happens both using Skype for Business and Cisco Webex). Using the USB connections, for whatever reason, my office desktop (windows 10) cannot handle the speaker. It works fine using a Chromebook. I contacted the Anker customer service, and they thought the device is faulty, but I did not feel confident with the process they suggested to exchange it, and the communication was slow: basically you receive a reply after 24 h, so when you have exchange 3 mails... is four days, with not a lot of progress. Finally, I decide to return the device using the Amazon return service. ***UPDATE*** It seems the problem with the mic is not caused by the PowerConf. I bought two phonespeakers of different brands and have the same problem, so the problem seems to be related with the drivers installed on the Windows 10 office laptop, that I cannot update, I was using. Anker customer service contacted me again and sent me a device, in order to try it again. I have used it with a Chromebook and my Android phone and it works very well, the people on the other side of the line hear me with no problem. It doubles up as speaker and the sound quality is good enough (much better than the speakers of the phone or the laptop). In addition, the size and shape makes it very convenient to take it everywhere.

I use with Zoom and it functions very well as a Speaker and the Microphone picks up very clearly. I had been using a Logitech camera and it worked very well, but this is definitely an upgrade.

the speaker is good but during the call the other party stops hearing my voice, although i can hear them perfectly. Anyone else facing the same issue ?? UPDATE: Complained to Anker and incredible service followed. The support team asked a couple of questions and promptly sent me a replacement without waiting for me to return the original unit. Arrived yesterday and have used it couple of times. No issues so far and the other party was able to hear me clearly without any drop outs. Will update further after a couple of days. Excellent call quality. My only issue is that the lowest volume setting is still a bit too loud. Anker - can this be addressed via software updates. No other complaints really. Watch out for further updates on the earlier issue. If that does not recur then it is a must buy for anyone looking for a quality speaker phone.

Excellent product and sound quality but does not mute MS Teams automatically. I have used this for about a month regularly and it is fantastic - not having to wear a headset for long calls is a big improvement. Easy to setup, excellent sound quality but at least for me does not mute teams when you hit the mute button. Seems to mute zoom correctly but not teams. Of course the sound is muted but it doesn’t update the mute indicator which means people are not sure if you are about to say something. I would still recommend but I just don’t know why it doesn’t do something so simple - perhaps the product is not at fault - I don’t know.

Handy device to hold meetings whilst working remotely. Good sound quality and the multiple microphones are very clever

Great device for the price. Works very well via USB, less so on Bluetooth (lip sync issues). Used as a conference phone for a mixed-mode team meeting and all in the room could hear and be heard very well up to 5m away and in some cases facing away from the device. The volume control is a little clunky. Mute button works with Teams. Considering the price, the functionality on this is excellent.

After about 3 years, I've decided I have had enough of this Speakerphone. Like many people, I bought this to simplify my life during the COVID Lockdown. It never really worked well, in my view. It's a combination of little things that have frustrated me over time. The two main connections were either via BT or a USB-C Connection. BT was really flakey, and lots of people reported poor audio quality when I was talking. Switching over to a physical connection helped but reduced it's portability. It also struggled a bit with the Mute capability, and it basically never sync'd with either WebEx Teams or MS Teams. I've recently switched over to a new Jabra, and the audio quality is massively improved. I'd go so far to say that you might even listen to music over it. I paid £79 for the Anker 3 years ago, and it's £100 now. The Jabra is about £120, so this Anker just isn't worth the money.

Excellent speaker. Le son est clair et suffisamment puissant. La connexion via bluetooth est facile et rapide. Fonctionne parfaitement avec Microsoft Teams. Le design est agréable et assez qualitatif au niveau des finitions. Seul bémol : il n'y a pas la place pour stocker le câble de chargement dans l'étuis fourni. Mais la boîte est pratique pour garder l'étuis avec l'appareil et le câble.

Je passe énormément de temps en réunions téléphoniques et je commençais à être fatigué d'utiliser le kit piéton avec mon téléphone. J'ai longtemps cherché un produit comme cette "enceinte de conférence" et c'est par hasard que je suis tombé sur ce modèle. J'avais déjà une enceinte bluetooth anker dont je suis très satisfait donc j'ai sauté le pas. Pour résumer: - Qualité audio top pour un usage seul. - Atténuation des bruits très efficace. Mes interlocuteurs n'entendent pas les véhicules qui circulent dehors (fenêtre ouverte à moins de 2m de l'enceinte). Témoin indiquant quel est le micro utilisé pour l'écoute. - Très bel aspect visuel (chassis en métal, objet lourd) - Connectivité Bluetooth + usb (utilisation possible avec un pc) - Grosse autonomie Les moins: - quand je coupe le micro, l'info ne semble pas remonter dans Teams - Il faut rester dans un rayon d'1m environ autour de l'enceinte sinon les interlocuteurs me disent qu'ils m'entendent de loin. Elle reste posée à coté de mon clavier sur le bureau donc pas de problème pour moi. - pas de multi pairing bluetooth : deux appareils ne peuvent pas se connecter simultanément en bluetooth. C'est soit l'un, soit l'autre. Je suis vraiment très content de mon achat!!!

Microfone muito bom, audio bom e a baeria tem uma duração longa. a Case de proteção muito boa também.
