when i read the reviews the negative reviews bothered me, the dry skin, staining the bathroom, melting fast , pigmentation getting worse. my skin color is a golden tan ...my nature skin at birth was much much lighter , more whitish yellow ...due to my ethnicity i tan easily, and high levels of pigmentation so i have turned a golden tan over the years due to sun exposure. when i get woulnded it leaves a black mark that takes long time to disappear. I had a bad ace attack from a bout 2 years and was left with lots of black marks , i tried a laser therapy that left me with massive patch burns. i wouldn't be more depressed it was much worse than my acne marks. i had nothing to loose i tried this. Drying - yes it is drying , it dried my body a lot but not my face perhaps because i have oily skin. also though some comments say it is drying due to the acid which for some part could be true , this is actually a purely coconut oil based soap. If you know anything about soap making you will know a pure coconut oil soap is the most drying soap , its ability to attach to dirt and really strip the skin is well known in soap making, thats why beauty soaps are made with olive, shea, cocoa butter, almond , oils as such. considering the purpose of this soap , to lighten, ill accept the drying and moisturize more during the period of use , and not have high expectations of a beautiful beauty soap. Staining the bathroom- i didn't experience this , again i'm not doubting at all the other's experience, I'm sure it would have, but i can not say that this is a common issue with this soap. it did not even wash off orange in color , it washed off as any other soap suds, transparent. I'm thinking perhaps its a mater of hard water in the area you live ? I live in hong kong. Dissolving fast - didn't experience this but i have no doubt it would have happened if you leave the soap in moist surfaces or exposed to water splashes. i removed the soap out of the shower soon after use. pigmentation getting worse- didn't happen but again i can see why it could happen .. as some say sun block is paramount ! even indoors,your skin IS exposed to the UV rays even indoors,through windows. although you have direct shield from sun over your head. it is annoying to apply sun block at home during the day but , desperate times folks ! also when your normal skin lightens even more than your pigmented areas that can give the elution of marks getting worse. So the big question , does this soap work ? Absolutely it does. My natural skin color has appeared and during the transition yes the marks and burned areas looked like it was darker because the normal skin lightens much faster , highlighting the dark marks, but soon after they are lighting too....after only 2 weeks of use my scares have not disappeared completely obviously , i even doubt if the burs will ever complete go but i can assure you the acne marks are almost invisible , the burs are so much lighter and blending in to my skin, there is still a dark outline of the original burn but I'm so happy for these results, i use much much less foundation and the unharmed skin is so clear. My objective is not to reach my birth color I'm not concerned about my tanned skin but naturally i have to accept the lightning of the skin to fade the dark marks. few advice i can give - if you have never used any kind of acid in any form before, such as creams , toners , go easy and maybe start the 1st week with every other day usage , it will tingle the skin , it did for me even after using acid creams and toners long before. the tingling is not a bad thing but at the end if it is a 1st time for acid , start slow to be gentle on your skin.do not manually exfoliate during the use of this soap u might really harm your skin as Kocic Acid already exfoliates your skin. moisturize well! dont be afraid of this soap its not a scary application of "acid" on your face ..but it IS an acid so do take is step by step until you get used to it. If you have extremely dry skin then i will suggest to start this in summer because I guess winter already drys so much , but again in summer the sun in stronger ..so please do choose to best suit your comfort your country , and practicality for your daily life like reapplying sun block every 2 hours !!! the most frustrating of all.Good luck all ! This is my go to soap for dark spots. It works well if you’re consistent. If you get dryer in certain spots just avoid that spot and use less. It does foam and lather so a little goes a long way. It is orange and can stain your shower. My skin is visibly cleaner and clear.

I love these. They are smooth on my skin... I usually use it for my itchy skin cause when I itch I tend to bruise myself. These remove the spots easily

I am a 27 year old caucasian female with an "olive" skin tone. I have dark hair and eyes and my skin is white as a snowflake in the winter and a golden brown in the summer. I have umpteen issues with my skin and these include: eczema, milia, acne, and sensitivities to ingredients in all kinds of beauty care products. I began using this soap on a daily basis. I washed all over my face and body once a day as though I were using any other kind of soap, i.e. I didn't let the soap "sink in;" I just washed it off as if I were using it solely for cleansing purposes. I followed using the moisturizing cream that I've always used. After a couple of weeks of this daily use, this is how my skin reacted: 1.) My face and shoulders broke out with large zits that I've never dealt with before. 2.) Some areas that are more prone to dry skin (hands and where my arms bend) became very itchy and red. 2.) My skin lightened dramatically. How do I know this? I have a large tattoo on my upper-arm and within that tattoo I have visible parts of un-inked skin. Within this period of time, that un-inked skin went from a very dark and kind of dirty-looking complexion, to a beautiful and bright pale color. Because of the acne and dry skin issues, I have decided to use this soap solely on my, ahem, intimate areas. I have been doing this for several weeks and the outcome is as follows: 1.) My downstairs no longer has razor-burn and the color is much prettier than before. 2.) My nipples and areolas have gone from a brown color to a pink color. They are also extra-sensitive to the touch at all times of the day and almost always hard. I plan on continuing the daily use in my special lady parts because I like these effects. Clearly, this does lighten skin. It works. If that is what you are hoping to achieve, I highly recommend it. However, you should be cautious and patient with your usage, ESPECIALLY if you have sensitive skin like mine. Don't overdo it. I would suggest to use it once every couple days to see how your skin reacts and either increase or decrease your amount of use accordlingly. As for its smell, I personally don't smell anything. In addition, I think a single bar of soap lasts quite a long time. Good luck and I hope my imput helps.

This maybe a little TMI for some people, but I want everyone to know how well this product worked for me. Let me start off by saying that I've used every skin lightening, dark spot brightening, whitening product you can imagine. From the high end retailers in Nordstrom to my local Walmart aisle. I've tried every last one of them, and not one of the products I purchased there have worked as quickly or as thoroughly as this soap bar. I have to confess that I am not the most patient person you will ever come across, nor am I the most diligent, but let me tell you this is by far the easiest and most inexpensive way to brighten even the most uneven skintone area. The main reasons I purchased this product was for my inner thighs and dark eye circles. As a kid playing sports in the summer heat, I always seemed to suffer from dreadful inner thigh chafing. I never actually noticed the dark blemishes they left behind until about a year ago. That is when I went on a skin brightening frenzy. I wanted them gone and I wanted them gone immediately. I had always had dark eye circles and purchased everything my dermatologist recommended. They worked, but not as quickly as I wanted. Because of this I knew what to purchase and what to avoid for my new found skin disorder "dark inner thigh areas". I came across this product by pure chance roaming amazon products, and I am so glad I did! I have been using this lightening soap everyday consecutively for almost 2 weeks now (morning/ night) and it has worked miracles! My dark circles are completely gone! I have the most even skintone I have ever had now. As for my dreadful dark inner thigh areas they are also completely cleared up now! I know that previous products would have worked had I continued with them for a couple of months, but did I mention that I am not the least bit patient? If you have dry skin, do steer clear. This product drys up the skin like no other product I've used before, but the organic coconut oil I use afterwards makes all the difference. Many people are complaining about the sting they get while using the soap , but I'm guessing that it only means it is working. Also, one word SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK, SUNBLOCK....and SUNBLOCK. It is a must. I don't know if this will work as well for other people as it did for me, but I highly recommend it. Hence the five stars. I got the 4 pack. Oh, I almost forgot about the TMI portion... as I was lightening my inner thigh areas it seemed to also lighten other areas as well...

Great soap! It leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth, and I’ve noticed my skin looks brighter with regular use. The included soap net is a nice bonus, and it’s a great value.

Just really didn’t do anything for me. The sentence was nice the parents it’s a little small. There was really not much like the review. Say it’s so awesome. I didn’t get that in mind. Maybe I got a defective one. I didn’t do much.

I wanted to remove old suntan from my face and arms. This soap is gradually returning to white (and not half-brown). So it works well! I will be ordering more.
