Actually pretty decent for the money...
Well, I picked up this hammock as an Amazon purchase after receiving a Fathers Day Gift Card. I was intriqued by the winter cover and packability. I've used this hammock off and on over the past few months and have come to enjoy it. I did make a few modifications to it though: 1) There's no way I would trust the ridgeline and plastic LineLoc3 adjuster under tension. Maybe it works for others, but at 5'11" and 265lbs, I wasn't going to take a chance. I replaced the ridgeline with an Amsteel adjustable ridgeline and it works perfectly. I added a couple of continuous loops as prissicks for handles to give me leverage getting up. I added a fixed ridgeline organizer that stays in the hammock all the time. 2) I removed the tension "hooks" on the ridgeline and replaced them with several small prussik loops. I was worried that the tension between the ridgeline and corners of the hooks would cause friction holes, so I just removed them and replaced them with the prussiks. 3) I modified the winter cover loops with adjustable shockcord and small hooks to attach to the prussiks. I added a piece of cordage to the zippers of the winter cover to make it easier to zip both sides up. 4) I replaced the suspension with a cinch buckle suspension and it is much easier to dial in the hanging adjustment. I'm thinking about changing it again to a whoopie sling suspension to lighten it up. These mods have worked for me and I find myself drawn to this hammock even though I have many others on the shelf. It's not ultralight and it doesnt pack super small, but it is light enough and small enough that I can fit my system, a tarp, ground cover, and Pomoly table in a small 20L pack for dayhikes. This hammock is short, but I can still get enough of a diagonal lay to be comfortable. In my opinion, its perfect for a dayhike, bugout bag, car kit, or emergency sleep system. Pair it with a light rainfly, a few stakes, and an underquilt and you are set to get outside and start hanging.

Best hammock on the market!
I looked at ALL the others that cost more and when it came to all the extra features I like, the OneTigris Kompound was the clear choice. I've camped in 7F degree snow storms with 30 mph winds and my OneTigris Kompound inner-liner kept my 0 degree sleeping bag completely protected from the elements under the mesh liner and overhead tarp. The only 'Con' was I replaced the Daisy Chain suspension with a Dyneema Whoopie Sling.

Great hammock for the price
This hammock has a lot going on for its price. They did update the tree straps (a few years ago I believe) so they now have more daisy chains to accommodate a larger variety of distances between trees or whatever else you're hanging from (picture above compares the old and new tree straps). The built in bug net is nice, you can flip the open end over the top when not in use and it usually stays out of the way. The insulating cover can be zipped up to your head on cooler nights and hung on the built in ridgeline to keep it off of you, but if you don't want to mess with that you can unzip it to the bottom of the hammock and there's a little pocket you can tuck it into. You can hang the storage bag to carry small items or hang a small light, etc. off of the ridgeline as well. The zippers are pretty smooth, though they do get caught up in the fabric or bug net from time to time which is easily resolved and hasn't caused any damage for mine. Things to consider: This is a single hammock, so it will not be as spacious as a double. It also isn't asymmetric for those looking to specifically have that extra comfort when sleeping on your side. I do sleep on my side in this from time to time, not really an issue for me. For any comparison I'm 5'10" 165lb.

Decent for the price.
I have been hammock camping for the past three years using a budget hammock with no extra bells or whistles. I decided to upgrade to the One Tigris Kompound this year. I haven't slept in it yet but I hung it and tested it out. Pros: Built-in bug net, integrated ridgeline with moveable clips for hanging a led lantern or other small gear, built-in lightweight insulating cover. I like that the hammock is available in natural colors that blend in as I prefer to be in stealth mode. A lot of hammocks are only available in very bright colors. Cons: The included straps are not very wide and the stitching on them seems to be lower quality than other hammock straps I've used. The material doesn't seem to be any more durable than my old, very cheap hammock. Overall I do recommend this hammock to those looking for a low cost option. I do think there are better hammocks out there but if you want a premium product, expect to pay a premium price.

Please address the make/quality
This is a terrible product. My first night using it the hammock ripped where the paracord and the canvas meets. If I wasn't near a shelter as well as with friends I might have been dead on the first night of using this thing. This is a serious danger that has to be addressed because if I was by myself I would've dead on night one.

Most of the features and quality of the competitors for much less.
Such good value for money for the quality and features, very comparable in features to something like the hennessy ASYM. It doesn't have quite the same feel, but for the price, you really can't complain. The tree huggers are nice and long and give a lot of adjustability. The lay is really comfy and works well with the OneTigris underquilt.

Good quality great price
What a great product for the price so happy with it I purchased the under quilt and tarp. Wish they had provided 2 guy line stakes, but ended up connecting it to the tarp stakes.

quality control could be better!
it was my first time sleeping in Hammock and I have to confess that I'm pretty impressed with the quality of my sleeping. I'm a side sleeper and was a bit skeptical about this hammock. The first night I use my sleeping mat in the hammock and it didn't satisfy me at all. next night I gave it another chance and use it with my underquilt. yes! it was amazing. it was one of my best sleeping experience in wood. Thanks, OneTigris for such an amazing product and design. great design. comfortable light good quality but the quality control could be better! overall I'm super satisfied with the price and the quality.
