Irish Setter Men's 83908 Wellington Aluminum Toe Work Boot

I’ve always loved Irish setter boots for the comfort, but these are real tight on top of foot, and almost impossible to get on. I’ve owned probably 20 pair of Irish setter boots, but this model is sized small

Bought these boots at Christmas time (third pair of Irish Setter's) in the past I have purchased the 6" 83606 and never had any problems. Thought I would try a pair of slip-ons just for ease unfortunately the bottom of the Soul started peeling away on the Mens 83908. No complaints on the leather it seemed to have held up durably. Hadn't changed how or where I work in them not sure why these did this. Must have received a defective pair?

Quality is amazing but I ordered a wide and they were too loose. I usually wear a 12 but my current boots were hurting the sides of my feet so I ordered a Wide. I’m returning for an 11.5 wide, hopefully that solve the problem because other than that, they were so comfortable.

The boot felt nice and I wanted to like them, but it was like there was nothing to keep your heel in place, it felt almost like I would walk right out of the boot making it unwearable for me. I even ordered another pair a half size smaller to see if the smaller size would correct it, but nope, still the same problem, only the boot was tighter on the front of my foot. Unfortunately I had to return them.

These boots look great, feel great, and were all I had hoped for...until the sole of the boot started falling off after just a couple weeks of wear. Had my Red Wings for 3-years without this issue.

Second pair of the same boots... I really like them. BE AWARE that they run large; I think that goes for all Ashby style Irish Setters. I wear a 12 in my other style redwing work boots, and an 11.5 fits perfect for these slip ons(vs. the size 12 I bought last time). Super happy with these new ones!

Well made durable comfortable work boots. This is my 2nd pair and I’m still wearing my first pair daily 10-12 hours a day almost a year.

These boots fit true to size... They are tight at first but in a day or two they will stretch out . They are small in the ankle openings makining them hard to pull on but in time they get easier. I tried them on at a Redwings store and they were going to cost 176.80 and I ended up ordering them thru Amazon for 127.00 ... The ones at the store had been tried on by multiple people and I did not want to buy boots other people had put on. The ones I got from Amazon were new in the box so I am happy. These are very good boots my last pair lasted about 4 years I will be buying another pair for back up from Amazon very soon... Update... I ordered a second pair thru Amazon and they did not feel correct on the left boot contacted Amazon and they sent a new pair out in 2 days... this pair was like the first perfect. I really appreciate Amazon customer service they were quick to fix the issue, now I have 2 pair and will be good to go for a while...
