Just which I spected
Working good A+

Need to charge before module activates
I tried 4 boards before finding out that these modules will only start working once you connect some charge current to it. Until then I thought they were DOA since they output 0v. Once you connect a charger to the pins (even for second) these come to life and work fine.

Does simply not work - do not purchase.
Dear all I am an engineer with decent professional knowledge to review this product.Testing 2 of the purchased BMS's turned out bad, the boards does not provide any under voltage protection at all, i allowed the discharge to go on and ended with one Lithium cell at 0,8 volts before i manually stopped it.My testing continued to 2 other PCB's with same result, i did not test them all yet, but the suspicion is that they will cause the same result.I have now purchased another BMS brand which works perfectly.Do not purchase this product as it is not working, simplyRegards Thomas

Hit and Miss
These are fine for a simple project or hobby type use. You would need to monitor the charging as they have no LED or meter to indicate status. I purchased 5, 3 worked fine and the other 2, I thought were DOA, they read 0v, however I read another review that said they might need a charge bump to activate. I hooked up a 12v power supply for 5secs. and sure enough they both started working properly. I dont think I would use these BMS units for anything essential, but for tinkering sure.

No balance function
Only protection there are no balance functions. Most probably to see first cell 4.2v others remain 4.0-3.86 or something like that. Prefer balanced one for your batteries safety

DANGEROUS
I’m glad I read a few reviews and made sure I was present the first time I fired up my little induction heater. Not even 90 seconds in to charging up the batteries, the board began to smoke and would have caught fire given enough time. This definitely is not rated for 10A!
