Constellations Activity Book (Color and Learn)

This is the best constellation book I have found for teaching children about constellations in preparation for recognizing them in the sky. After receiving and reviewing the first one, I ordered one for each of my grandchildren and for all of my nieces and nephews.

I bought 2 of these workbooks for my girls, ages 8 and 10. I put together a "Constellation Summer Camp" at home since they weren't going to any summer camps this summer. They absolutely loved this workbook. We didn't finish it in one week and they wanted to continue working in it the following week. This mommy doesn't mind if they want to continue having fun learning. This workbook only covers 26 of the 88 constellations, but that enough for this young of an age group. Some puzzle pages were a little bit of a challenge for my 8 year old, but my 10 year old loved them. And they both loved doing the dot-to-dot for each constellation, then they would color them in. It's nice too that at the bottom of each constellation page there is an explanation of how to find it, what time to look for it, what time of year each appears in the night sky. Nicely done.

The book was another resource for my kids to learn about constellations. We all really enjoyed the workbook and I would recommend it to others.

I liked the book, but for a child who is interested in constellations it is something simple and short. I would like it to have more sheets and contribute with other constellations and with more information.

Really really excellent resource for teaching kids about the night sky. It incorporates astronomy, mythology, cartography, and other basic skills. Perfect for my 8 & 10yr olds. We're planning a stargazing camping trip once every few months until we've spotted each one.
