HONEST REVIEW
Just got delivered today and a big thumbs up for Amazon.I'm a big fan of Redgear but it's sad to say that this is not a premium product. I have used many redgear products in past but I'm disappointed this time.Red Thunder-B is virtual 7.1 gaming headset with noise cancelling microphone, as they said. The material on this pure plastic and doesn't feel premium at all. Also I'm very much disappointed with the sound quality. Surround sound works well as it should be but the sound coming from front and rear sounds same - there's no way to distinguish them. Also the lows are so low that I was forced to use a third party loudness equalizer; mid and highs are OK. I can work them but the sound isn't crisp and that hurts me a lot. I experiented with discord, youtube, media player, games and I found out its not suitable for music at all.Now the Microphone. The noise cancelation on this is so high that it compresses the voice, as result the voice is coming from very closed space. This is not a definition of a good mic(they should improve the mic). The build quality is decent and I expected little more from Redgear. Even the Redgear Cosmo 7.1 has better quality than this being a older a model. The plastic feels similar to what we get at 500rs headsets. The headband is made out of foam and glued together. The ear cushions are more like spongy rather than soft and I'm not sure if they used memory foam on the cushions but texture looks identical. The sound coming from speakers can be heard from outside, also the cups aren't noise cancelling - I can literally hear everything happening beside me and I'm not kidding. They said "you won't notice it wearing" that's so not true. I can definitely feel heavy on my head. I wont say it feels uncomfortable but I was sweating under the cups sometimes. This headset has its own driver so if you want tweak settings (which you will need eventually) you need to install the driver from the given CD or from their website. Despite of providing many features in the software most of them are useless and do not use the Xear Surround Max because it will bleed your ears and not in a good way.The RGB lighting on this is pure hoax and does not settle for a single color. Either you can turn it off or watch the multiple colors blinking. That is pretty useless for me as I can't keep a single color turned on.I think I have covered all the possible aspect of a headset. Conclusion: If you have more or less budget than this please avoid this headset. If you want a decent 7.1 headset(for gaming) it's good. The bass on this headset is relatively low so I would not suggest it to bass heads.

Best gaming headphones for the price.
I bought this product in april 2019 and after using this product for one year, i've gotta say that its the best gaming headphones for the price.Pros:7.1 surround sound is good.Audio quality is good.Bass is good (although i don't listen to songs with too much bass)RGB lights look good and you can turn them off if you don't like it.Software is very good and has many options including 7.1 surround sound, equalizer, settings for both speaker and mic, environmental effects (try it), voice changer for mic, etc.Build quality is also good, it is strong and will work even if you're a gamer with anger issues. We can change the position of the mic.We can turn of the mic with the button.Cons:no option to choose a specific color of rgb in software. Conclusion:if you're looking to buy a good pair of headphones for the price then you can buy this product with your eyes closed. For the Redgear team:this is a really good product, i've been using redgear mouse, keyboard, headphones, mousepad and controller for more than an year and i've gotta say that you make amazing products for low price.

Not suitable for long hours
Cons:* Not comfortable for long hours so stay away if you plan to use it that way.* Cloth braided cable are prone to knots. Rubber braided cable are always better.* LED indicator missing for Mic in-line controller. Accidental press and you would be speaking to yourself on end without noticing. A little sound indicator in the software that beeps when mic is on and off can also greatly improve the experience.Pros:* Great mic and sound for this budget.* 2 M long wire helps you lean back as far as you want and watch your favorite shows.* 4/5 build quality* subtle RGB that don't shout "I am a gamer" Yup there are a few of us that play games but are not a fan of RGBsWould I purchase again? No. Lesson learnt, at this budget, comfort is everything.Do I regret purchasing it?No.

Great value for money!
Light, clear, loud and great for gaming! The surround works very well on Pubg..The only small negatives I found were that it's slightly tight on my head but I can't complain as I have a relatively large head. One more thing, the piece to adjust the volume and light is on the heavier side and I'm worried that it might spoil the headphone in the future as that piece is always hanging and putting strain on the wire (where it meets the headphone). As my earlier headphone malfunctioned from that same point and the sound to my left ear would frequently go. Had to move the wire to fix it every 10 minutes.I hope that doesn't happen to this one as that volume piece is heavy.
