I just received this item a couple of days ago, so I can’t yet vouch for the longevity of it yet. However, I’ve been waiting for this to arrive because I have 2 very yappy small dogs. Their barking recently began when we moved. Now they are able to see clearly outside and want to bark at everything that moves. To make matters worse, our neighbor has several outdoor cats that parade in from of the window overlooking our yard. I couldn’t wait to give this a try in hopes of getting some peace and quiet! Again, I just started using this collar on ONE of our dogs (I ordered only 1 to make sure it works before I get a second). After the first few days, I have to say, I will most likely be ordering a second. The only drawback is that you control when to deliver the “negative” corrective measure. It is not delivered if your pet barks, only manually. But my theory is that if you do it right, your pet will know to stop the behavior when they receive the warning - and eventually I hope they won’t even need that. It comes neatly packaged and includes an instructional manual that is easy to understand. All in all, I am satisfied with this product and feel as if it does what it is supposed to do.

This works fine, good range, seems well made, and would highly recommend it for the right dog.However, and this could be a good or bad thing depending on your dog, the max setting is barely noticed by my pooch. I don't want to hurt him, but I do want to clearly get his attention when required. I tried it on myself and it has an annoying shock at max, but not too strong, dogs fur would likely reduce it. Also I see no need for 99 settings, 3 or 5 should be plenty, makes it hard to adjust setting if stronger correction is needed.A minor point, it has different non-standard charge connections for each unit, though the appropriate cable and charger are included.

I have been looking for a new training collar for our youngest lab, who just turned a year old. She still has some issues with boundaries and aggression, so this training collar was the perfect purchase. This collar has both a vibration and a shock mode, and at different levels. The vibration mode is effective enough for my lab, and scares her enough to listen or stop doing what she shouldn't be doing. The buttons on the remote are large and easy to read, and the LCD display is nice and bright. The battery is completely rechargeable through a USB cable, which is included. Once fully charged, the training collar and remote can last for up to a week of constant use. The training collar is also waterproof, so it still works even if it gets wet. If you are looking for a great quality training collar for your dog at a good price, I would highly recommend this one.

I have owned this training collar for a little over a week and I have to say that my dog is making great improvements. She had a habit of taking shoes and having us chase her around the house, all because she wasn't getting enough attention. Now, when she gets a little antsy and I can see where her attitude is taking her (stealing shoes) I put the collar on as a preemptive strike and she ALREADY straightens up without me using the collar at all!Now, when I first started using the collar I would put the collar on and as soon as she took a shoe - I would use the sound. She would run over to me and drop the shoe at my feet. So, I haven't had to use anything but the sound so far and now it's gotten to the point where I just show her the remote and she knows to stop.

My mom thought the collar was on too tight not realising that it was a shoch collar. So she loosened it up with out saying anything. I didnt know why the shock collar wasnt working so I turned up the power from 4 to 5 to 6 to 7 to 8 slowely.As recommended by the instructions. she finally felt it but after looking at her fur it was literally burnt off. 2 bold spots in the shape of the 2 prongs were left on the under side of the neck due to this accident.Other than loosening the collar. The training was amazing. Within a couple I hardely had to use it. She was not jetting out into the streets anymore. And stopped lunging at people during walks. This collar is amazing just make sure you use it sparingly and follow the manual.

The only issue I have is how easily the correction box slides off of the collar. The manufacturer should have provided a more stable access to hold the correction box other than utilizing the collar as the only placement mechanism. My dog has knocked the correction box off a couple of times already. I have since taped the correction box to the collar. Otherwise, the overall capabilities of this product have proven to be successful. My German Shepherd puppy is fully aware of the importance of refraining from barking too excessively and jumping up on the kitchen counters upon using this product.

This was easy to set up and overall the collar worked (I tested it on myself) however after a few weeks my dog no longer responds to it. I don’t blame the product for this, I did try other collars and he just didn’t care about the shock or the vibrate. He responds to the beep if it’s his first time hearing it in a while but he eventually starts to ignore that as well. That’s my dogs problem though and not the collars problem.

Just received July 24th. This inexpensive lil bastard works better than the high dollar collars I keep buying. I simply removed from packaged and charged it for a couple hours. Then fitted it to my dog and adjusted the collar shock strength using the SOUND button to make a sound before I shocked my dog. She got use to the sound really quickly and now she listens immediately. Super easy to use and operate. Plus it goes out 320 yards this providing plenty of distance for your pet but at the same time giving the owner control. I’d buy again for sure
