Dupli-ColorBCP100 Brake Caliper Spray Paint - Red - 12 oz. Aerosol Can

Awesome results on the front brakes of my 2015 Honda Fit LX 6-sp. The key is getting it right by properly prepping the calipers to be sprayed. Lucky for me, the vehicle was brand new and minor spraying of brake cleaner removed any accumulated grease and oil. Didn't bother to remove the caliper. Carefully used masking tape to cover areas to prevent unwanted "over-spray".The result is a smooth, factory looking caliper. Have had people comment how much more I had to pay as they thought it was a factory option upgrade!!!!Apply a minimum of 2 coats and follow the instructions for distance to prevent any paint drips or teardrops. Did 2 front calipers and there's enough left in the can for one coat on 2 more (the Fit has drum rears). Amazon priced it right and shipped fast.UPDATE: With the left-over paint was able to color the front and rear calipers on the wife's '14 MB G550. Prep work is the key. Put on 2 coats and even the Service techs at the local dealership find the results amazing! The painted calipers on the Honda Fit have been on 8 months and continue to look like new. No chipping, fading but note that Japanese vehicles have minimal brake dust compared to German brands. Curious to see how these hold up on our MBenz.

Coverage was great, spray nozzle left consistency. Color was extremely true and left a nice brightness that wasn’t expected. Finished it off with coat of clear coat and looked amazing.

This product exceeded my expectations. Easy to use and the results look like I got it professionally painted. I only did it last week so I can't speak to how well it holds up, but so far this product really couldn't be any better in my opinion.

I used this to paint the calipers on my 84 Ram D100. It surprisingly turned out to be a close match to the color of the truck, which is Viper Red. It sprayed fairly evenly, although thinner than most spray paints. I found that keeping the can about 18" to 20" from the caliper reduced any chance of running. I can't say yet on the durability of the paint, but I think it should have no problem holding up. If that changes, I'll update this review.

Good paint, dries slowly and chips easily so you have to be careful installing the calipers and brackets, but the end results are good. I like the bright red color too. The last paint I bought was almost a maroon color and I didn't like it so I had to find another shade of red. This one works.

Be sure to read the directions before use. Have plenty of time to allow the paint to cure. I let them sit for 7 days to make sure it was cured. When it is cured it is like iron. You will love it. Make sure you use a good brake caliper cleaner one day before the first coat of paint. You want to get all the brake dust off before painting. This is one great product!
