Bunion Pads and Separators

I've tried gel toespacers before for my bunion on the big toe...but they weren't too good because they were'nt wide or long enough or stable enough. This one is the biggest I've found so far. By big I mean long and wide enough to maintain a good space between big toe and the toe next to it. Also, what makes this spacer unique is that it has a shield on the bunion side that attaches to the spacer keeping everything in place. When you wear your sock over this bunion shield spacer, it is pretty stable and won't move around like those other stand alone gel spacers that tend to move out of place...or at least they did for me. Most of all, I was experiencing some bad pain in the big toe joint because of the bunion which caused toe misalignment. I walked and ran wearing this toespacer today and it was comfortable and no after pain. The spacer is comfortable and seems to stay in place even without shoes or socks worn over it. The instructions say to wear it only for a few minutes a day at first to get used to it, but I wore it for 2 hours straight and no problem at all. Can't wait to see if this pain relief and comfort continues in the long run. The price for 4 pairs is great and the pairs can be used on either the left or right big toe...so if you're only using it on one big toe like me that's eight toe spacers at about $1.15/each.

I had surgery on both feet for bunions years ago. Since then, I develop calluses on my big toes and the big toe joint and it’s only gotten worse over time. I live in a very warm climate now and wear flip flops the majority of the time which doesn’t make my calluses any better. When I do wear shoes, I get blisters on the outer part of my big toe joints. I remembered, after my bunion surgery, I wore toe separators. I thought I’d try them again. I found these and noticed how they cover the big toe joint so I thought I’d try them. They are a miracle! The gel padding is very comfortable in between my toes and the outer joint. I had no pain. I’m very happy I found these. If you think they’re hard plastic, they’re not really at all (by the photos posted, I thought they were). They’re very soft gel. I recommend

Really do help. They help they are not surgery so the problem gets helped for sure. Very good at spacing the toes and padding the side of the bunion pain. I have worn in the house bare foot. To let the toes spread. And I am able to wear with some sneakers & sandals. The clear is not visible unless wearing s flip flop. It has helped reduce my pain. Daily use is important. I cannot wear to bed have been trying. The rubber gets caught in sheets. And it strangles the big toe. My pain reduced I was not able to stand without bad pain. I was starting to get a leaning outward stance and walk. Not after a few days of wearing for 5 hours or more. I wear in my tub, my shower, reading, watching tv. They clean with light soap & water. Not slippery stay in place. The design is really good.

This product is horrible. It doesn’t sit flat and it is worse and more painful than the actual bunion. What a waste of money it does not look like this in real life do not buy.

This product does separate the big toe from the second toe, however, I would like more separation between the two. But that is not my big problem, I want to wear these while in bed, but the silicone sheath that covers the actual bunion is very flimsy and sticky and it catches on the sheets making it impossible to wear these to bed without socks. That is not working for me, especially right now in the summer heat

My bunion is on my left foot and this device does a great job of keeping my toes apart and easing the pain from the bunion. It is easy to use and flexible enough to adjust and it can easily be trimmed as well. For the low price you aren't going to find anything better to help with this pain. The only downside is that even though it stretches a good bit after 3 or 4 hours it does get a little tight. I just take it off for an hour or so and then put it back in place.

I was pleasantly surprised! This pad really helped with alignment and decreased discomfort.

It’s too small. The part that covers the bunion area isn’t nearly as long as pictured and it doesn’t lay flat. It sticks out so I would have to tape it down so it would fit inside my sock and shoe and I have an average size foot. Not functional, I’m returning.
