Scanpan Classic 8 Piece Cookware Set

We needed new cookware. It's almost all made in China, which we will not buy. Even Calphalon and All Clad make almost all in China. This is made in Denmark with an Amazing, SAFE, durable nonstick coating. The pans are quite heavy and should last forever. Only the skimpiest coat of oil is required to fry (a couple of drops spread over the bottom). Heating is even, and on our gas stove, the heat can be quite high before flames may creep up the sides of the pan. Using highest for things like boiling eggs or bringing water to a boil for any purpose works just fine. Clean up is fast and easy. So glad we found these.

This is my second set of Scanpans. I left the last set in Alaska when I moved to the lower 48. But, I can guarantee you that they were the first thing that I replaced! I had had my last set for about 3-1/2 years. And, once I started using them, I wouldn't use any other pans. They held up well during that time. And, I enjoyed the confidence of knowing that I wasn't being exposed to poisonous flouride. They work best with just a little oil, which will also help brown the food. And, they are much heavier than many of the pans found on the market today. I also like the fact that they have a life-time guarantee.

The sauce pan lid does not make a complete seal and we can’t use it for rice or veggies. The 8” sauté pan has a 6” base. Ok for 1 person not our family. 3 stars bc they are well made.

I've had my SCANPAN set for about six months now. I chose the classic design and I'm very happy with it. The pans distribute heat well and cook food evenly. They also clean up like a dream--even after I burned a few meals in them when I was first taking over dinner duties. Great product.

I wish I could explain in words how amazing these pans are. We had one scanpan that we used for everything but after 12 years of use, it finally needed to be retired. We decided to get a whole set after witnessing the quality of the first one. Cooking in them is a breeze! Nothing ever sticks! You really have to witness it yourself. Cannot recommend enough.

AWESOME - thought I do see some "scratches" on bottom. Switching to using no metal utensils. Love how it cooks and cleans.

I received my order very fast. Loving the quality but unfortunately the 26cm pan arrived dent. I can still use it but it is very disappointing to receive a damaged item for this price.

Bought this a year ago. But in two of the pans the upper layer is peeled off. They say 10 years warranty but when try reaching out they don’t respond. Even the $20 from Walmart works better than this.

This set started flaking after about a year, despite using wood and plastic implements and is beginning to leach the non-stick material. The whole lot has gone into the bin. I still have my original Scanpan pot with the bonded titanium after 20 years and cannot destroy it despite abusing it. Now I won't touch the brand.
