Great learning toy
My 4 year old son loves this game! He reaches for this all the time. He loves the activity of catching the little fish and counting out the little dowels. This has been so helpful in him learning how to identify numbers beyond 10. He likes “catching” the bigger numbers and is getting better at knowing that 16 (1 and 6) is named sixteen. He’s also learning about magnets (attract and repel concept). This learning toy is versatile and also will be used for years to come when he’s doing arithmetic.

Many uses
I really like that I am able to use this in so many different ways. I also love that it is wooden and has a tray. Although we have used it for addition, I currently have it on the shelf to reinforce the teens. I made some quick number cards and we use it for matching and putting numbers in order.

Good without sticks
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 2.5 year old. She enjoys playing with it.Pros: kid friendly with open ended play, helps learn colors, numbers, gross- fine motor skillsCons: contains 50 sticks. Each stick has been counted as one piece. These are not of good quality and can actually hurt a kid.
